I have a 2015 eco boost convertible. I am getting white smoke after extended idle. I was reading that there is a revised part to fix this. I am not getting any codes, I have a catch can already. I have checked the coolant, I have checked the oil everything looks as it should. The white smoke is only after extended idle periods. After I drive the car it goes away. I have noticed it maybe once or twice on deceleration.

Does anyone have the part number for the revised part so I can fix this issue. I know Ford has TSB about this. However, when I called the dealership to speak to them I got a run around. I don't feel like dealing with them. I just would rather do it myself. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Anyone who has experienced or fixed this issue I would also appreciate any in site you have on this issue. Thank you.

@BrianGT2015

Here's the info you need. It was Ford TSB 15-0192 and it applies to all 2015 and some early 2016 S550 Ecoboosts.

Do you need to reprogram after replacement or no?

Far as catching can no. Just install and go. Check it ever so often. And empty. I like to save mine in a bottle to see how much oil it captures in a certain amount of time

After the dealership replace bad pvc they will reprogram /clear code that you are throwing. If you are doing the repair get in touch with Parker performance https://ppflco.com/collections/ecoboost-mustang?page=4

he sales factory replacements and gutted factory replacements pvc

I recently had the TSB performed on my car. The ECU has to be reprogrammed after changing the PCV/Baffle plate. BEFORE you go down this path check the tag on the side of the baffle plate on your car. Mine had the "old" style part (Bar Coded) depicted in the TSB and so I wanted the newer "high flow" Baffle plate/PCV part (QR Code). I had this TSB done before installing the UPR dual valve catch can. I suspect that the catch can system will work better with the "high flow" Baffle Plate/PCV component. Maybe just wishful thinking but I figure it couldn't hurt.

They reprogrammed but did not replace with a high flow battle plate. It seems to be running better. If I need to I will replace it myself. I can't stand dealerships. they tried to say because of the after market intake and catch can it may be causing that. I was like no dude. A catch can prevents these issues. The mac intake doesn't have nothing to do with the issue.
