Question; If there's this many problems with the cooler, why doesn't Ford recall the GT350 for the issues??

Are you talking about the '16 base/tech owners that don't have coolers ? Ford can't recall something they didn't install in the first place.

He did but while driving at highway speed, thing is tranny gets pretty hot while driving in stop and go traffic as well as i've found out this summer, so i'll definately be looking at a cooler kit solution .
I wonder if it would heat soak the cooler in traffic without a fan

I emailed them directly about a possible kit in the works, never got a response.
Same operating procedure as Ford Performance...

Ill be ordering this next week. I know who tested this and they confirmed it makes a difference.
So do you know why it has to be removed to change engine oil?

Because you could get oil all over it when you start draining it. No other reason.

I admit I have not crawled under my car to look, but it seems like this scoop is at least a foot behind where the drainplug would be.

Wrap the cats with insulating heat wrap. It will make a difference, especially with the cats so close to the tranny.

I thought about this but I am concerned about overheating the cats.

I removed the cats with off-road pipes and had the transmission heat up at nearly an identical pace. It's not the cats (when you're moving anyway).
