This is the same BS argument. The choice was not as obvious as you say. Why would someone think that the GT350 without coolers couldnt last as long at the track as a Mustang GT that doesn't even offer coolers? Had ford been up front with the about 10 mins at the track then I believe a lot of us would had ordered differently. That's kind of sad.
You chose the plush model, it was pretty obvious to me that you had two options. Pick the tech if you're older and just want to keep it on the street or get a track pack if performance was more important to you.
You have a few unsubstantiated claims of OPG failures and now all of the OPGs are bad.
If I Bought a tech I would happily pay the 1000-2000 it would cost me to fab up my own coolers.
Like many tech pack owners have pointed out, the tech pack is the superior option because you get the handling of the track pack with the better stereo and for 2-4% of the cars value you can get the cooling system in check.
Selling the car out of pity is pathetic.
Yes one way or the other I'd be thinking about modding my car. Rightnow I'm considering a transmission and cooler, but if I had gotten the track model then I'd be molding the radio and reapolstering the seats with leather.
