I was told the cooler kit contained all lines and attaching parts ant the trans was separate. This is not going to be released generally and FPP will approve each "application". They will then contact designated dealers or vendors.

Except for the 6 AN lines as described in the email you posted..

Thanks for the additional information posted Gordon. I didn't realize the email as "application" perspective.

Tons of questions remain IMO. Tired of it all. Good luck with your GT350!

The 6 AN lines are for those that opt not to get the whole transmission as well.

In all actuality, they didn't develop any solution or fix, or put in any R&D at all. They are simply selling you the OEM parts and telling you to figure the rest out if you want to exclude the complete $5495 package.

I have a '16 tech pack, so I have been reading through this thread.

So in summary we have to either buy the whole transmission or buy the "kit". The kit however does not have everything you need, which is what else? If we buy the kit, is there a way to get the trans temp reading? If we swap whole trans can we get reading from the onboard computer? Do we contact Ford directly or our local dealer?


Is there a "kit" for the differential cooler in the works as well?

Contact Ford Performance at 1 (800) 367-3788 to get answers for your question about cooling options. You'll have to get an email from them for starters, this email is posted multiple times in this thread, look on the pegious page for the latest. Good luck.

You can buy the cooler kit M-7095-M8S for MSRP of $695 and add your own pump and lines or buy both the cooler kit and M-7000-M8S transmission for $4800 and be complete. Total cost for both is $5495 MSRP.

I believe it has been tried and failed.

Yes it was used on the boss 302 LS and really crude.Has been tried on the 350 and not luck.

Hopefully this stuff is available soon. I know I can get it cheaper through a dealer I work with allot. I would love to do the whole deal and make it as close to a factory Track Pack as possible.
