Keith posted as an SAI employee in the GTE thread with a little info on cooler systems being developed by SAI.Hi Guys,
Now to your question! I have both active and passive cooling systems for the GT350 that have been in testing and some are modular to the GTs, Ecoboost and even the V6s. Current in-cars are differential (active), manual transmission (GT & GT350 active and passive) and oil (active and passive). We're just about to release the passive parts and packages and were still experimenting with quieter versions of the active systems. The ones that have passed durability and destruction are LOUD!
I'm not always on the forums but can always be reached by email [email protected].
Thanks again!
How about sep. 12th. Gives us a week to spread the word. What is the #?Been out of the loop for awhile. That is really disappointing that they won't allow the posts, but not surprising at all. I'm guessing it is not a conspiracy to keep this specific problem on the downlow, but probably a group of young Ford employees that has guidlines to not allow a certain level of negativity.
I'm down for a mass call in day to FP though. Let me know when and the phone number. Are you guys calling the general number found in the owners manual or a different number?
Works for me.:coolphotos:

That's great news. Thanks for sharingKeith posted as an SAI employee in the GTE thread with a little info on cooler systems being developed by SAI.
I invited him the join this discussion to give us more onsite to the development. Hope he excepts.
Don't get over joyed just yet. We've been getting these kind of promises once the issue became known. That's great news. Thanks for sharing
Personally I knew what I was buying and I did not have any issues. I always planned to add additional cooling down the line to prolong life of both. I just didn't expect this to be such pain since both trans and diffs are the same (did not know pumps were internal). Either way me personally I'm good with a kit for both and realistically I don't think it will be free. I think the mass phone calls just might let ford know that we are not going away.I think before you guys go calling you need to decide what the outcome you want is reading this thread:
Some Just want a kit they can install on their techs and can track away and are willing to pay for it.
Some members think their car is defective on the street and want a fix for free
Some members think they should be able to track there techs within some limits and either want a kit they can buy or want it free
Some members think there car is fine but would like the option of a kit.
Some of these approaches might be better received then others.
I'm curious as well. I have a 15 F150 with the tow package and it has the transmission cooler for it. It also has the digital readout on the dash and it is always about 200-205 driving it normally. No towing or heavy payload anyway.Do we know what the normal operating temperature for the non cooler transmission is? Rather, what it's supposed to be? Lately I'm between 170-200 degrees.
