Your confusing me you said you read that supplement. Fair enough Im guessing if I went through the owners who are complaining very few are in your situation.

If you cant fit in the seat you cant fit int he seat I am 6'1 240 I fit in the track seat im very muscular but im not barrel chested.

My final thought is people like you got burnt assuming the dates you mentioned(as car guys we know if you order a year one car there is risk) But a fair amount of member fall squarely into the you should of known better category

Do you plan on tracking your car?

No you are 100% wrong. Work harder at putting yourself in the position of knowing what we did in early 2015.

Why should I assume that the most track capable Mustang ever won't outperform a base Mustang GT on the track?

I picked the specs in May 2015. Last I checked May is before August. But there was some information about coolers prior to August of 2015. I'm thinking December 2014 or January 2015. I'm not exactly sure.

I knew at the time there was very little chance I would fit into the Recaros. Frankly the tech pack buckets are too narrow for me. I sit partially on the bolsters and I get a little hunched over because my shoulders don't fit. Also, my lats are wider than the seat so the center of my back doesn't touch. I couldn't get the tech seats with coolers. I did consider it a long time - I didn't really want the tech features, but I also wasn't thrilled about taking a new Recaro to an upholstery shop to be "fixed" or replacing the seats in a brand new car. I'm comfortable with my decision. It will be even better soon when I get the coolers added.

I'm not sure why this argument is continuing guys? In the end Tech owners have to deal with the possibility their cars will go into limp OFF track. This is the problem ford will face. Wether or not Ford intended Tech cars to be tracked is irrelevant. If the car goes into limp on a highway or street, it's a problem period. They are addressing it apparently which is good. If this was limited to track driving then I understand the price of the upgrade. If street driving becomes a problem in warmer weather, Ford should be "ponying" up and eating the cost IMO.
I dont think anyone is debating that. I agree 100%. But I think limp on the street might be over blown. Have you hit it? I think only a few members have and the response was take it in for service.

That was my point. I haven't hit it so it's a non issue at the moment. If I choose to track the car in the future, i'll buy the coolers they offer eventually.

Again, if you have, or don't want coolers do you need to come into every thread and waste time with an opinion that is not going to change anything.

It is amazing how other sites are much more professional on this topic and certainly more understanding. you cant even share raw data here without getting trolled by a Mensa track packer or heat denier.

Sadly another unsubscribe.

I always planned on tracking it. Only 2 or 3 times a year and I will probably always remain somewhat of a novice due to not hitting the track that often, but yes I always wanted to track it. I also planned on daily driving. This car is far too awesome to sit in my garage.

The seats were really the only reason I picked the tech pack option. I wanted to fit in them. I considered buying a track pack car and having a friend present at the dealership or having it towed home in case I absolutely couldn't even drive the car with the Recaros in it, but that seemed very silly to me at the time.

Gotcha. Hopefully you get a fix, worse case you can install a after market one and be all set! It looks relatively simple since the tranny isnt that low in the car.

You don’t want to know
So here's the latest from Ford Performance - pretty much echoing what the OP said 2 months ago:

1. An add-on transmission cooler kit will be available from FP as soon as early September, but it will not include the external pump, some fittings, wiring, etc. You will have to buy something like a Welden 9200 external pump (http://www.weldonracing.com/#!store/r0nxr/!/9200-A/p/56212366/category=15047045) and wire it to a power source yourself.

2. The OEM solution eventually will be a kit that includes the same coolers, tranny, fittings, etc., as on the Track Package. The kit with all the parts will be in the catalog "later," but for now you can go to the dealer parts department and order all the parts separately to create your own "kit."

3. Stay tuned for news about the differential cooler...

There was no info on pricing or warranty coverage.

Not to shoot the messenger but thats bs(directed at ford).
1) is essentially nothing, not sure that meets the term "kit"
2) is basically ordering all the parts from the track and installing them that would be astronomically expensive

I really feel like there is some intentional misinformation being tossed out. If there is no warranty coverage you might as well piece together your own kit.

FP has been very consistent on this message for months, and I am really disappointed. I thought they were just talking in generalities until they finished the required engineering on two OEM options. I expected a turn-key external cooler kit that was totally engineered and just needed to be bolted into place - not a boxful of parts with instructions on how to order the rest of the non-OEM parts before you have your local speed shop figure out how to install it.
