Factory optional 20" size for GT & Ecoboost is 265/35-20...20" foundry alloys come OEM mounted with Pirelli P-Zero hi-performance summer tires...only 220 tread wear...

I'm not a high performance driver (even thought several of my vehicles have 550 HP plus)... LOL

I'm a cruiser...and rarely drive excessively over the speed limit...so I like all-season tires for comfort & long lasting tread wear...and they're less prone to blow-outs...

If I was replacing my current tires...my first choice for my driving style would be a set of all-season Continental Procontact TX...

Only avaible in a H rated tire (instead of Z or W rated)...so only 130 MPH rating...plenty fast for me!

Tread wear rating of 500...so possibly up to 30,000 miles of use!

XL load rated...99H load index...

Tire Rack stocks them... http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Continental&tireModel=ProContact+TX&partnum=635HR0PCTXXL&vehicleSearch=true&fromCompare1=yes&autoMake=Ford&autoYear=2015&autoModel=Mustang%20Fastback&autoModClar=EcoBoost%20I4

Nah. It would have to be a higher rated tire. What can we fit on there as far as width?

Sorry...just notice you indicated you have a supercharged vehicle!

You would definitely want stay with an aggressive hi-performance summer tire... and I'm sure you could go with a wider tire!

You might want to review the wheel & tire threads...

Ya I know. Just curious how wide I can go on a 9" wheel. I know in the past alot of people shoved 285 and 295 on. Then there were some idiots thst did 305.

my plans are to send two of my 20's off and have them widened so that I can run a 305 or larger when I replace my tires. My car is also FI.

Yeah If you really like the look of the foundry wheels then I would go for widening the backs to 11" and run some fat meats on them. Now if your willing to part with them you could get $1500 for them and buy a nice staggered set of 20's and you would also save in weight the OEM wheels are real heavy.

I doubt I'd get 1500 for these. Maybe 1k or so. I'd rather not fork up money for a new set.

I have read that it should be around $200 per wheel. My thoughts are wanting to keep a stock appearance but have better traction. Besides, I like the 20" foundrys.

Makes more sense to buy new wheels then. That's over 1k for just the rear with new tires. Meh.

I guess it depends on your goals and the quality of aftermarket wheels you would buy. Also, finding 11" wide rear wheels will get more pricey I would think.

Are the stock 20" foundry wheels 20x9s or 20x10s?

I am putting Sumotomo 255/35/20 A/S on my 20" wheels for the winter and looking for another rim for my summers. I love the look of the foundry wheels but they weigh like 700 pounds each! I'd like something lighter to put on.
