I’d like to take advantage of the Labor Day sales. Any tuner and handheld recommendations for the 18 GT automatics? I see a lot of posts about Lund and nGuage, but never any results. Just looking to see if there any improvements and if the bang is worth the buck. Ill keep everything else stock and don’t have access to e85. Thank you in advance.

I have a 15 GT. I noticed immediate improvement with just the Lund Tune and the JLT CAI. Improvements in down low torque and through the whole power band. Your engine is a different generation so I cannot speak to it. Do a search on 6G. There are posts with dyno results on the subject. I have a nGauge and Lund flex tune and bought it from Terry @ Beefcake Racing. Good luck.

If you have access to 93 pump gas it should make a large improvement also.

CAI replacement has been discussed many times with most saying it does not need to be done. Maybe a drop in filter at best.

Again, depending on your goals. Also the tuning device is a preference depending on what you want it to do.

I would suggest a BDX tuner. This will allow you to run Lund ,PBD or whatever. A Lund ngauge is limited to Lund. But it is a very nice device. I have no hands on with a BDX, so I can't say anything. But I plan on running a BDX on my car. The Ngauge was great on my 15. But I want to keep my options open

Very True. With the nGauge Lund is proprietary. I have been happy with Lund so no big deal for me. But for someone wanting options not the best route.

My PBD E85 tune was money, but I went back to 93 once I realized my car had the engine rattle. Their 93 octane tune is ok, but E85 really wakes the car up.

I am in the same boat. I think I am going to go with Lethal's PBD labor day deal with E85. Just not sure if the tuner/E85 is worth it. I have never tuned a stock car; it has always been with a supercharger or turbo.
