Hey quick question for you guys, how long did it take you you to receive your tune via email? I sent in my tuning form on the Steeda website last Friday and still haven't gotten it yet.

Got my tune this morning...
I installed tune with no problem but I automatically assumed it required the restrictor off so I took off the restrictor from my CAI and the car idled like shit so I put it back on and it ran great.
The tune is great the car really pulls harder through each gear and the rev limited has been moved up so you can hit 60 in 2nd on the speedo. The guys at steeda did a great job with this, for a canned tune I am pretty impressed. I took some vids on my gopro will upload later.

I have the same set-up minus the tune. Did you notice the exhaust note got louder with the CAI or did you do them at the same time?

I had the exhaust first then got the CAI, the car is definitely louder with the CAI

Hey guys,
Did everyone get a tune that required the restrictor in? Its a great tune but I just wondering if anyone has any news on if there's an unrestricted tune coming out and any numbers along with it. If if people have had both, any difference? Notice in power?

If the tune requires the restrictor, the tuner is doing something wrong. The whole point of a CAI is to flow more, not less.

The tune is for a stock car and and can be used either with the stock air box or the CAI with restrictor.

Ahh that explains it. OP, get a revision for an unrestricted CAI.

You don't have the tune for without the restrictor, you need to keep the restrictor in for the time being.

wonder if this ever got addressed as the thread seemed to die out. I have a tune pending with Steeda so hope it works with JLT CAI without issues.

I'm pretty sure the unrestricted tune was released some time ago.
