Took the plunge and bought one.
Are there better filters that can be used with this besides the paper one? I'm using a Cervini ram air hood so I definitely need a good filter. I guess the paper will work fine, but is that the only option?

Any idea what the appx install cost would be at a Ford Dealer, to get the benefit of maintaining warranty?

It doesn't have to be done by a dealer for warranty purposes. It just needs to be done by someone who is ASE certified. I'd find a local shop who's passionate about cars to do it. As far as cost, I believe it'll be around $500 by a dealer.

I would specifically have to confirm this with FP tomorrow when they open again but I am pretty sure this was addressed and is part of the delays and backorder reason.

New kits are shipping with updated elbows and FP is working on the process for previous version owners to get the updated elbow as well. Once the process is established we will announce it here.

Got mine today. Now just have to get it installed.

Looks like a new 90deg fitting and new pcv hose. Ford said they are going to send to me, we'll see.

The instructions say the end user must register the calibration. If your having it done at a dealer I'm taking it they do that?
