Guess I thought the Mach 1 design would’ve been in the pipeline when these released. But I guess they probably started working on these earlier than that.
I still don’t understand why they didn’t use an elbow more similar to the Mach 1 intake. Wouldn’t even need to switch connectors or trim the cover.
Got a quick slightly off topic question.
Since the easiest comparison here is MT82 versus TR-3160 does the Mach1 & Dark Horse use the same clutch as a GT or the GT350?
To date I’ve had a 2014 GT Track Pack, 2018 GT PP2 and currently drive a 2019 GT PP1. I use Motorcraft 5w-50 in the 2014 and 5w-30 in the 2018 & 2019 along with Motorcraft filters.
Only tick I ever experienced in all three was during extended time at idle. My 2019 for instance did it while in...
This kit at most should’ve been a tune & airbox or even just a tune & filter. As much as I’d like to have the neat look of this airbox the fitment is utter garbage.
Ok unlike most I’m not a fan of the dogbone digital cluster. So my question is can one swap in an analog cluster or will there be reverse swap compatibility issues?
Bought each piece individually before Ford Performance offered a complete kit.

There are four wheel liner push pins that you will need to reuse.
Parts will ship in the original Ford box and have been...
I still can’t believe they haven't switched the elbow over to the Mach1 style. There would be no cutting, rubbing or engine cover modification using that tube.
Noticed Boostane was brought up to solve octane requirements for this tune. Another option is VP Octanium Unleaded. It has less mmt than Octainium & Boostane and an added cleaner to keep what’s in it from giving you that orange/rust build up on stuff.
Little off topic but how was the install of the Bullitt/Mach1 plates? And what are you doing with the green solenoid? Is it possible to work the Bullitt solenoid into the mix?
We’re talking engine differences and straight line performance though. With that being said my last car was a 2018 GT PP2 so nothing about the Mach 1 HP leaves me stunned.
