Which transmission type is best?

  • I don't care one way or the other.

  • This argument is pointless, and I won't take part in it.

  • There is no "right" answer, it's a matter of personal preference.

  • It doesn't matter to me what someone else chooses, I'm happy with MY choice.

  • I'm very insecure and NEED to bash other people's decisions to feel good about myself.

I refuse to participate and take a side in this discussion. Reading all these posts is to much work and not worth my rime & effort, sort of like driving a manual in congested, city traffic ... whoops.
Pretty funny, newbie! :crackup: :giggle::clap:

I over heated my A10 on the 3rd or 4th session at the track last month. If the manual doesnā€™t do that, then I made the wrong choice. šŸ˜†
(installing an oil and trans cooler as soon as a slot opens up, hopefully next month).

It doesn't, but the engine will regardless of transmission choice, lol. The a10 already has a transmission cooler between the radiator and condenser. But a bigger one will help a little. Part of the problem is the target temp for the cooling circuit is a silly number, I think its around 200F that it wants to sit at, so its easy to spike to unsafe numbers. Not sure I'd anyone found a way around that yet.

Well, there is a choice for "this argument is pointless".
Yes, but the other 3 equally apply too and since "I don' give shit, or Really, you're gonna argue over that useless shit again", I just can't make up my mind.

Oh shit, imagine if they put both of them down on the left side? Automatics would then have FOUR pedals :cwl:

@Norm Peterson, I genuinely need to know your opinion on that potential control scheme.
On a serious note I have a young nephew that is a huge car enthusiastority.. was born with a rare condition..has no arms . Literally does everything with his feet..amazing at the gun range and video games and has a Modified Polaris razor. With paddle shifter..if anyone could learn a automatic gas pedal with paddle shifters would be that that amazing young boy .
