Which transmission type is best?

  • I don't care one way or the other.

  • This argument is pointless, and I won't take part in it.

  • There is no "right" answer, it's a matter of personal preference.

  • It doesn't matter to me what someone else chooses, I'm happy with MY choice.

  • I'm very insecure and NEED to bash other people's decisions to feel good about myself.

Well I’m about to have a Sunday drive. Choosing my manual mustang over the wife’s auto Honda. Admittedly transmission doesn’t enter this equation. Because Honda or Mustang...no thought process there.

Have fun. You made the right choice 😉 As an ex Honda owner, they're good cars too. Just not as fun .... sounding like a mosquito.

Yeah. Her 2013 accord is not fun to drive at all. We’ll be leaving just as soon as she’s “ready”. So in the next hour or 3.

I actually wouldn't mind having a 13 accord. Mine was old AF a 2002.

again i say this is a silly argument. the automatic has allowed more people to experience the fun of an american muscle car without needing the skill to work a clutch. im happy for these people.

I voted that I'm extremely insecure and that I need to bash others to justify my horrible life choices. Auto is better, manual is for degenerates that shop at Walmart and cash paychecks at a gas station.
Lol. I voted the same way. Except that manual is better because auto is for lazy, one dimensional owners who should probably just take the bus if they didn't want to drive.

I'm very insecure as well and your post really offended me. Then I went to Walmart, looked through the parking lot and my car was the only one with a manual transmission.

Well I'm off to cash some paychecks now.

So am I.

Until, collectively, their choice takes my choice away from me.

Yeah, when I purchased my last automatic, there was a selection at the bottom of the contract:

[ ] YES [ ] NO Take away Norm's manual vehicles?

I of course checked yes.
