Nothing. I like my 15 GT just the way it is. I would consider an 18 EB in automatic for a daily though. Although, I'm also really liking the idea of a Focus as a daily too. Just gotta figure out my insurance stuff.

Tell me the vibration is totally fixed, totally gone, and I might even consider a damn eco...

My wife's permission. :D

In all seriousness, the photos revealed shows the color I would have selected over my DIB. Either that or Gold that was out in 2010.

I've grown at appreciate the few mods I've done to my 15' GT/PP and would only trade up for a GT350
After seeing the new body changes to the 18' and (increased HP, larger choice of wheels, quad tip with active valve exhaust) I have to admit I am thinking trade in....

Even though the '18 is growing on me, I'm not even remotely thinking of trading mine in. Not that I think the '18 is sh*t, because that's not the case. When I get a vehicle I really like, I'll spend a good amount on it making it "mine" and keep it for years. I've had the same truck now for 15 years, so I'm expecting to keep my GT for many years to come.

Bingo.

Exactly as stated... If Ford did nothing to resolve the "lets stick a hose clamp on the driveshaft to band aid the drivetrain vibration and push the customer on their way", then the 18 will come just as defective as the prior 3 model years. Fact.

I may consider trading my 15' for an 18' depending on if I could get it for around what I paid for my 15'.

What does the '18 offer over the '15 in reality?
All the new things seem to be extra cost options (not that I would order mag shocks, active exhaust or lcd speedo). We are promised a few extra hp at top revs, but no mention of the torque curve at lower revs. The suspension is said to be better, but that usually means Nurburgring harder.
The Auto box is brand new and untested, a big minus in my experience.
Finally the smooth flowing external design is messed around with for the sake of change and the resulting front end really is not as good as the original, you know.
If you want a new car then wait for the s650, you'll see the mules in two years.
I feel the same way. They made the exterior changes for the sake of making changes. It doesn't flow with the actual design language. The tech & mechanical changes on the other hand are awesome. I'm keeping my '15 as it looks better and I still have a few things to do to personalize it my way.

Gonna take a bath on it either way.

I got my 2015 GT premium auto 3.55 gears and spare tire for invoice (x plan). I believe it as somewhere around $35k before tax/title/reg.

I can get $27k for it right now Blue book and it only has 9,000 miles without a scratch on it (excellent condition). That's a roughly $8k depreciation loss even having gotten it at invoice.

Futher the base price of the 2018 is reportedly up around $1000 from the 2017, which the 2017 base price was up from the 2015. I believe the 17 was around $1000 more than the 2015. So base to base the 18 will already be $2k more than the 15 was.

You're talking a $10k bath even gotten the 2015 at invoice and the 2018 at invoice. Also the options will be more expensive (add magnaride, add active exhaust etc) so increase that more to get into a 2018. So not worth it with a big refresh in 2 model years

I guess if you have $10k just to burn

My 2015 is paid off... saving now for a 2020 vert (got a feeling the 2020 is going to be expensive for the "premium models")... my house will be paid off in 2020 as well.

2018 is not enough for me to trade at this point... I'm calculating my powertrain warranty should be out around 2020...

Had a guy taking a picture of my car in traffic today... my car is still "cool"... or he was CIA or KGB... lol

You'd seriously would incur the wrath of interest for Dual mode exhaust? Just pay two grand and get Roush Active exhaust or cutouts.

I'm very satisfied with my '15 mustang gt PP. If anything I want to see how the 2021 mustang hybrid stacks up to the competition.
