$1200 sound right

So simply said does $1200 sound right for tuning my hellion car from the ground up on pump gas? Plus $300 to move my o2 bungs?

Sounds a bit pricey to me.. I have had dozens of cars (turbo, supercharged, N2o) tuned remotely and in person and have never paid more than $600.

Not sure about the bungs being moved. Do they have to drop the exhaust to do this?

move the bungs for what? sounds like a rip off. Get a good remote tuner like Ken B and be done

A good "Turbo tune" can be complex and time consuming. And if the tunner has to rent dyno and then do street tuning as well, it could take a whole day and he needs to make money as well. Just make sure you're there.

In the old days, I had paid close to that, but I was ripped off, because he simply lied to me and I was not there to see if he really did spend the time or not. Found out later, he had simply copy another tune and put it on my car and charged me a $1,000.

Where they moving the o2's to. I'm moving mine to just after turbos. It's adding out the factory O2 wires that'll take some doing as well. It is a good amount of work so I don't think it's a horrible price. Especially if that's including dyno time. It's one of those you just have to pay it.

What did you do for exhaust?

Does that tuning include the tuning device? If so, that's an ok price. If it is just tuning, that it high.

You don't need the nGauge for Lund to tune the car. Any shop is going to require a device, unless they're using HP Tuners. Lund is 525.00 for a blower tune using whatever device you have.

Dude don't laugh, gotta pull the old o2s probably have to take some of the piping to get to it em. Need to add out the factory harness's the proper way. Will need to heat wrap and route. Will need to remove crossover pipe, weld in new bungs and reassemble everything. its not a 30 min job.
