Shortly after you posted the initial estimate I stated that all the damage wasn't listed. They missed quite a bit actually. Isn't it amazing how little they know about cars?

The same thing just happened to my daughter except in a much shorter time frame.
Two days after her wreck she was given a repair estimate. Three days after that, the day it was to go to the body shop, she was told it was totaled.

And to put things into perspective in Va Beach the fine is a whopping $10 plus court cost ofcourse if convicted of driving without insurance.

Wow, In Ky second or third time is a felony. First time is a big fine, jail time and loss of license.

No, they know what they are doing, they knew it was totalled, but also knew the used prices on vehicles is silly high, and sports cars values drop once winter comes, So holding up paying for 3 weeks or more was betting against the house that the cars value would drop before they wrote the check. THEY KNEW EXACTLY WHAT THEY WERE DOING.

It has dropped, online used car buyers sites offers have dropped 5-12k in the last 4-6 weeks.
What they bought cars for off people 4-6 weeks ago, was 10k more than they are selling them for now.
The insurance co. knew exactly what they were doing.
