10r80 - Random harsh downshift

Hey Everyone!

Been a lurker for a bit, and was hoping for some opinions.( 18 GT 401a PP1 10R80)

On my way home today, I was coasting in 5th gear (Sport+) and the car suddenly indicates its in 1st gear, engine revs up to 6.5k RPM, then jumps back into 5th with no Driver input. It drove fine on the way home. Just the normal 4-5, 5-4 jerkiness.

Has anyone experienced this?

Im reluctant to bring it to Ford, as they in sorts pushed me out the door when I brought it in for said jerkiness, and intermittent no shifts during spirited acceleration.

Record a video of the problem and let the dealers see it when you bring the car in. Dealers should be the first place to go to anyways because the car is still under warranty, if you take it to an independent Ford specialty shop they will charge you for the work.
