On a 2015 GT with manual tranny, 373 gears and 11" sticky street tires (not slicks) how much whp and wtq would a good driver need to run 10s in the 1/4 mile?

Super specific! Can you elaborate?
I have zero ground to help this conversation. I was hoping to get this party started for you by creating an opportunity for someone to call me crazy so you can get an answer.

It took me 770whp to run a mid(ish) 9 second pass with an auto. There are NA cars running 10s and even 9s though. It would def take less than 714whp to make a 10 sec pass.

You will be hard pressed to run tens on street tire without significant more HP that a good drag tire.

On a good drag radial or slick 575-600 should get you there with good driving.
On a street tire 700 on a good prep.
A10 auto will do it with ease at 500
A10s are cheating!

Depends on the weight and how its setup. The fastest NA car I know of goes 10.5s with a mt82. Im sure it's probably around 500hp

500 whp with a car weighing 3500lbs with 1.7 60 foot should trap around 128mph running 11.1ish, that gets you knocking on the door. Da and traction and other factors are at play but this is in a perfect world. You could go FBO, and some spray or supercharge and kick the door down and not sacrifice too much weight it all matters how mild to wild you want to get.

Where would you find a 3300 pound mustang? I want one.
As this thread is seeking a 10 second slip, there are some very basic things that can be done to shave almost 200lbs off the car's weight. Start with a base curb weight of a 2019 Mustang GT Auto is 3705. Remove trunk mat, trunk mobility pack, floor mats, battery cover, engine cover, sound tube, windshield washer reservoir, passenger seat, rear seat backs and bottom (leave hardware installed), and get a light drag pack, you can shed 196.6 lbs. That gets you to 3508lbs curb weight figuring in full tank of gas. Could save more with light weight battery, lighter driveshaft, and more things that get deeper into race spec. The things mentioned above though are all easy/standard items without permanently altering the car into strip-only territory.

The wheel weight savings mentioned above figure in forgestar or racestar 17x4.5 on MT SR 26" tires on front and my 17x9 bullitts on MT ET Streets so not a $2500-3500 wheel/tire setup by any means.

That's called a foxbody or a new edge with a coyote swap. Getting an s550 that low would take some work and lose alot of amenities that draw us in.

The trick to running 10s in a manual is driving the car like you hate it. 5000rpm side step launch. Keep your foot planted and power shift. 550hp should get you a 10 second slip in a full weight car on slicks.

Lighter the car the less hp it takes. ;). RJames took a rental 18/19 GT a10 and ran 10’s with just long tubes, E85, tune, and weight reduction over weekend.

Yes correct. You can tear all the shit out of a car that it came from from the factory for free. But then you have to calculate how much your time is worth pullin it out & putting it back in every time you go racing.

I can 100% confirm that the fastest NA MT82 is in fact a tuna can. Would NOT want to own it.
