Nov and Dec will pick up a lot cause of the 18's and the likely fire sales of the left over 17's

Should be interesting to see. Will the additional power, new transmission, etc. make sales shoot up?

I can see it now Camaro6 says: "Our precious supercar just gave the Mustang a beat down"

I hope the 2018 Mustang sells far better.
Wish Ford kept a V-6 option.
A 3.5TT would be great too......

Should check the sales in 2015 and 2016. The 15-17 is going to be called a pile of crap on here in a few weeks by the newbies but it sold like crazy and had the two biggest years since 2009. Even the year three sales were solid when the completion offered better performance and cut prices big time (why would you have to cut prices on the Camaro/Challenger? Very odd stuff). Hard to tell where 2018 will go I think the Camaro and Mustang will continue to be neck and neck for a while as the prices are going to increase. I do not think there will be numbers similar to 2015-2016 again.

That is terrible for the Camaro though. The Mustang refresh is about to come out and the Camaro is barely ahead?

I bet a lot of enthusiast buyers are waiting for reviews on the '18, and holding off buying a '17. Those that wanted a great deal probably jumped in for the outgoing car. So it's understandable that Mustang isn't killing it... yet. I think several things like the geez whiz gages, exhaust mode, and advertised 0-60 should create a lot of interest as long as Ford doesn't price themselves too steep.

I see a lot of Ecoboost cars around town, dropping the V6 option may not be so bad for sales.

There is not really a lot of excitement around the mustang, and Ford has been keeping things hush hush for a while now. If this continues for a few more months hopefully it will push Ford out of their comfort zone and start taking their competitions more seriously.
