2016 and up EB are way slower?

Any theories? Motor Trend recently tested an EB against the 4 banger Camaro and found the 0-60 on the Stang was significantly slower than last year. My assumption is Ford "revised" the stock tune because they were getting too many warranty claims. I'll post the article below.

This is all BS, no offense OP there's already a video about this same thing, and it's ridiculous! Actually all the more reason to tune your cars guys. We tuned car guys aren't getting slower just faster and faster, so good luck on the streets!!!

It's chevytrend that's why. They put in 87 gas and now lying about how they used 91. Right in their chart when it was first posted they listed the octane used. it said 91 (camaro) and 87 (mustang)... funny how that was removed from the chart after I just checked it again now.

People underestimate the power of the driver mod. Look at the EB Fast List to see what a stock car should be doing.

I have a 2016 and went 13.64 at 100mph bone stock. Safe to say I proved the articles thoughts wrong.

Did it beat up on the camaro even being slower than last tested ?

I read 1 line about the turboed camaro and decided that the Mustang must have better times .

They test 4 cars and one of them ends up slower. They jump to the conclusion that all EcoBoost are being built purposely slower?? Wtf kind of thinking is that!!

whats next from them? The yellow car they had stops 5 feet better So ford must be making yellow cars with better brakes?

I like how they completely ignore that trap speeds are all right in line meaning there is no issue aside from launch...err the user when it comes to a manual. :doh:
