So some might know that I am working on an updated exhaust. This time it will be as simple as a muffler delete. Two videos are below showcasing what a straight muffler delete sounds like on the 15. This will not be a straight muffler delete though as I will have resonated tips on the final version. I am hoping that these tips will take out a bit of the high rpm rasp that can be heard in the videos. Stay tuned for more updates!

Hope your new setup is low cost, low rumble, no drone, and fits verts also. Call me greedy to ask for so much, but I believe you might be onto the "Holy Grail" of V-6 sound enhancements! Good Luck as Our cars are needy...thanks.

RHM,
Good to hear you have a convertible V6. Do me a favor and PM me or post in the V6 Sound Clip thread if you run across anyone on this forum besides the ones I know about (Russian, DJGold, ajfrench and myself ;)) that have done muffler mods to V6's. Or any other forums you may go to. Especially if they have a convertible! ;)

I'm still working on my MF 11365 drone issue.

Should definitely fit convertibles! A muffler delete was a pretty popular modification with the 11-14 V6. With our 15's center exhaust resonator taking care of most of the rasp and crossover a muffler delete with a bit of tuning should be all our cars need to sound great! Any exhaust shop should easily be able to do this install. It is looking like Sunday I can get these installed so check back then for an updated sound clip!

Very Groovy if it works for verts. I will try to post on this thread if I can find an acceptable exhaust remedy somewhere here in Texas that works. I cannot PM as Davekro requests as I do not understand how to do that...Yea, you're reading and dealing with a certifiable DUMB A__ !

Thanks Zack...can't wait to hear your new iteration! My silent exhaust is the only thing that needs to be modded on my V-6. Best to you!

Completed exhaust today! It sounds AMAZING! The added bonus... No drone so no need for the resonators!

Sounds great! So this is without the suitcase in place? How much weight do you think you shaved off with this system? Now go do some 0-60 runs :clap2:

With the suitcase! The stock muffler's weight is about 23lbs.... My muffler deletes weigh around 6. :D So 34lbs in savings with deleting the mufflers! 0-60 times to come! I don't expect much if any improvement over my current times as the dynomax bullets are about as straight through as you can get. But we shall see if that theory is true!
