This most certainly will not be the most epic or extensive build on here, even if you're just counting eco-boost mustangs, but I want to build a project that is relatively cheap, yet makes this car what it basically should have been from the factory: A 12-second, aggressive looking and sounding eco-boost mustang that does not sacrifice drivability for performance.

The name, as I assume most of you have put together, comes from the amount of horsepower at the crank this car should have, and T is obviously for turbo. I'm well aware that depending on the tune and exact parts I get it could be a little below or a little above 400 hp, but that's why settling at 400 in the name gives me a little play. If it's 10 under or 10 over 400HP, I don't think anybody would ever really notice or complain.

In essence, I'm just kind of doing a build that I feel most eco-boost mustang owners can aim for and achieve without too much effort or money, while still being a build that will make this car competitive with stock GT Coyote mustangs.

I am starting with a race red premium eco-boost Mustang with the 50th anniversary appearance package and the performance package. I feel this is already a great start in reference to performance and looks but here are the mods this car is likely to have by the end of the project:

Interior mods:
-None (I know I probably didn't even have to post that but I just wanted to be very clear on everything I'm changing).

Exterior mods:
-Tiger Racing Hood (for looks and help with engine compartment temps).
-Custom fender badge (possible, not set in stone yet).

Engine/Exhaust mods:
-MMR CAI (mainly for cooling inlet air temps, even a little bit, and for looks and sound, not expecting any real horsepower or torque gains).
-A high-flow catted downpipe (The make of which has not been decided yet).
-MMR intercooler (obviously a necessity if you are tuning a turbo car).
-Custom Tune (likely Unleashed Tuning's).
-Ford Racing/Borla axle-back or cat-back exhaust.
-MAY add methanol injection... This will likely be decided after all the other mods are in place and if I'm still struggling with high IATs at that point.

Knowing me, this could always turn into a "500 T" if I upgraded to a bigger turbo, but right now I'm looking at just making something that will just basically wake this car up and make it the way it should have been from Ford (from power, to looks, to sound).

Video Review.

I'm also looking for a stock 2015 GT owner to do a comparison video for YouTube. Shoot me a PM if you are interested. Please live nearby and be willing to drive near the Baltimore area.

Okay, so let's update:

Interior mods: None
-Accomplished! That was easy. ;)

Exterior Mods: Fender badges, hood, and I'm adding a Roush rear spoiler to the list.
-I have the fender badges: Powered By Ford badges used on the Shelby GTs. Just need the weather to get nice enough so that I can put them on.

Engine Mods: MMR CAI, High-flow catted DP, MMR intercooler, custom tune, Ford Racing mufflers.
-Well, I nailed this list, though with some changes. I have the MMR CAI, but went with FFTec for the intercooler, not MMR. Picked up the Roush mufflers instead of the FR/Borla ones. Then, of course, I've had the tune for 2 months... Torrie's Unleashed Tune; love it!!!

Well on the way to completing this project! Lots more videos coming soon, and I'll post a few pics, too.

I disabled that a bit ago. Decided against trying to raise any money. When you have a YouTube channel it could turn into a shit storm. I'd rather not pander for donations. Glad I avoided that issue now.

Just made a group page on Facebook for all boosted-application Stangs:

Boosted Mustangs

Feel free to join if you have a turbo or supercharger on your Mustang.

This FB page is also where I'll be putting up most of my videos and pics regarding the progress of my build. Big things happening next week!

Another shootout against GTs, only this time it's modded versus modded.

Yep. I shifted too late on that day.

I did it today, shifting at 6k rpm, and it dropped to 8.9.

Getting there!

Are you auto or manual? Mine's manual.

That'll help. Haha.

What's your best 0-60?

My absolute best is 5.3 with the tune and mods... not sure I can do any better with the required shift into 3rd with these 3.55 gears.
