Did anyone notice any changes or other benefits to having their UPR Catch Can installed?

every 2k miles, when I empty mine, it looks like a $tarbuck$ single shot of espresso (I order a double shot prior)

just think about how many shots of gunkspresso would otherwise be sitting on the bottom of your engine

Well the main reason I'm getting it is because of the smoke issue. But some people reported different engine noise or feel for whatever reason.

Is the UPR Catch Can better than the Mishimoto version?

You will want to replace the check valve between the intake manifold and the catch can with a Boomba 12mm Check Valve.

There is a video on the bottom of the link above that shows the install and I talk about the benefits.
I watched your video, very good by the way, I have a question. What happens to the line that goes from the back of the valve cover to the intake tube in front of the turbo? I thought the dual valve can replaced that line.

I have the UPR can that has just two lines and goes in between the PCV and the intake manifold. Other than my can becoming pressurized under boost I don't see the advantage of the dual valve can.

I just replaced both the valves on my UPR DV with Boomba units. Boomba are local to me and stopped by there on Monday and picked them up. really surprised at how little there is holding the UPR valves on. Literally just pulled them apart with my hands. I feel much better with them clamped.

Remind me, both check valves always point away from the catch can, right?

You only need to replace the check valve that is between the can and IM(intake manifold). The other one that is between the can and intake will never see boost so it's pointless to change that one unless you just want matching check valves.

Exactly this. It just bothered me not having the valves match so I swapped both for Boomba valves.

Like Adam said, replace the valves first thing.

I had oil building up in mine when running big boy boost. I'd say stock turbo on pump is OK, but the guys running 26+ psi should either get the better valves or do a breather setup.
