Seriously? Ignorant much?
I own 3 mustangs right now. I am a Ford guy -- not a Chevy, Dodge, Honda, BMW, Toyota, or any other type of guy. Where I "shop" or where I post has ZERO bearing on the fact that it is 2015 and Ford Motor Company has a QC issue, and the simple truth is that will not change if guys who have more money than brains continue to use shitty outdated arguments to defend an issue that doesn't exist at this extent with any other major manufacturer, and shouldn't exist at all. It doesn't matter if it is a base V6, or a GT350R, shit should not leave the factory like this.
If you built the car that the OP posted, would you actually be proud of that work?
Maybe it is you that should post somewhere else if you can't handle coming on to an internet forum and having to hear the truth, no?
You can easily watch the latest episode of Motorweek. They show a red Civic from the front. I know you will agree with me about the gaps at the front of the hood after you watch it.Pictures, or BS.
Well said!!!To each his own... That's what's nice about America... I have 1st world order problems with decisions of what to buy... I don't have to conform to someone else's orders.
I have a vested interest in this car as I have an R on the way. As I will be carving turns at local tracks do you think for once I'm gonna worry bout the 0.13562" trunk gap on the right and the 0.15264" gap in the left? No... Am I giving Ford a pass... No. I just chose to purchase a car that's not perfect and will be damn proud of it.
Now play ball!

I wanted a R so bad. The only dealer that was said to get one near me in the Detroit / Ann Arbor area was varsity ford and they were starting the bidding at $95000.00 and it was also a lottery draw. I was lucky enough to get the GT350 from another local dealer and out of the 30 plus guys on the want list I won that lottery draw with only a $5000.00 markup.I am getting an R, things would have to be falling off before I would refuse it, because I would likely never get another one. That being said, if there was an issue serious enough to complain, not sure I want Ford to fix or high end shop, I use for repairs, even if I had to pay,
likely better results.
Based on what I seen so far, I think odds are low, I will get anything I can't be happy with.
Exhaust with sooth any issues![]()
I understand, here you can still get GT350's for MSRP.I wanted a R so bad. Guess the "elitist" owners should get a secret password to this forum, and only let verified owners get the password. :lol:Do you have a 350, or one coming? Did you just come over here and click on the "build quality" thread cause you like the hype about Ford's mistakes? You're rubbernecking man. It's cool.
Now that you've said your $0.02, mosey on along if all you gotta do is bash something you don't or won't be getting.
Smh... Very immature man. You avoided my question, obviously cause you are on the outside throwing stones. That's cool.Guess the "elitist" owners should get a secret password to this forum, and only let verified owners get the password.
Some people seem to be very sensitive about this car. All these so called "bashers" are saying is that it's just another S550 being slapped together on the assembly line and it probably isn't treated any differently than a base V6 being assembled. So just don't be surprised if it does show up with a few quality issues. If anything, I would think someone buying a GT350 for large coin would be even more upset if it showed up with noticeable flaws, which was the flavor of the OPs post starting this thread.
You seem to have a skewed perspective on why people are commenting in this thread. Call it what you want, but the reality is the GT350 may come off the line with all the same quality issues as all the other S550s being assembled. But egos seem to get in the way of reality sometimes.Smh... Very immature man. You avoided my question, obviously cause you are on the outside throwing stones. That's cool.
I'll take my flaws in my R and I will pet them everyday and love hem and care for them and enjoy them, despite the haters on Ford quality. Btw, I won't be surprised.
Take care man... I don't readily go over to the non-GT350 forums and post cause I don't have one of those cars , so I can't real-world relate.
