If its the turbo, I won't care so much. I'm most concerned with the engine. If everything is good I will continue modding, happily. And try and figure out an oil feed restrictor bolt for the turbo.

Mine smoked pretty bad today. Having my tuner bump the idle and throwing rotella t6 in it tomorrow. I have a downpipe and the ultimate racing 3" cat back.

Torrie put it at 800 for me. Still no dice. I would go 850-900

DJ STARSCREAM hit it on the head, with less backpressure it allows the rear seal of the turbo to develop a very very small oil drip. A small drop of oil the size of a tear drop will cause a smoke show, so the very tiny amount of smoke you are seeing is from a drop that is hardly measurable.

I am going to be bumping the idle on a customers car that I tuned last week to see if that helps at all. Planning on doing 950rpm.

Please let us know how that goes. Only reason I am having them do the compression test is the oil smelled heavily of gas. That MAY have been because it being break in oil, idk.

Stupid question, is this only happening to non-catted aftermarket downpipes or both catted and non-catted?

It's more apparent after the CAT is removed prior to running the downpipe I didn't notice it so I'm assuming the CAT was masking it it would catch most of it and burning it...but at this point I'm not to sure I called the dealership so I may the mine in to see what's going as well

Well, this is wonderful to hear considering I was planning on putting in my order today on an EB Premium. No I think I'll wait to hear the results on here before placing my order.

It's not a huge deal to be honest, I'm pretty sure it does it from the factory but the CAT is there to keep it from puffing.

Change the oil out of the car at 500 miles, and you will hardly even notice it. The factory fill on the car is shit to be honest. Get it out of there, and break the car in properly and you will be golden.

Already did that Adam & yes the factory fill was like water:lol: anyhow when your sitting at a light & the car is smoking especially it being new that's no bueno, I get the extra smell & maybe a little smoke from condensation but I think we are all seeing the same with it smoking way to much & getting the burning smell.

I feel bad for leaving the factory oil in until 3k miles now. I said in a different post that my factory oil came out looking like shit. Black and very thin. Not what I expected for just 3k miles. I wish I would have driven the car home from the dealer and changed the oil from day one.

That is what I recommend everyone to do when they get their car. Take it home, change the oil then drive it normal through the first tank then put some quality gas in it.

This is clearly the result of modifications. Not something you would need to worry about unless you just can't stand to buy an EB without adding a catless downpipe
