That dome is aweful, why not just fit a shark fin like BMW did, then at least the owner has the option of removing the fin if they wish.

Is this yet another great fail by Ford?

Has anyone else in Europe seen a custom pack 17 car yet with a roof mounted dome or otherwise? Just my luck they drilled the hole in mine by accident and needed something off the line to cover the mess.

you can get HD Radio on the Sync 3 in the UK, but the dome is pretty redundant for me, but i have a lefty with the dome on the boot. dont know why a RHD would have it? as the car is Europe bound, pretty pointless, unless its being used for something else
It can be updated from the wifi network and will find local wifi near you

Probably more cost saving. Now they only need one roof type. No need for a Euro market roof anymore if they just keep the dome. Bet if you rip the headlining down there is nothing in it

Sync 3 does also use wifi for updates etc.
