Hi Mate, sorry to ask you a simple and silly question. I am in the first stage of replacing all the bulbs to LED in my car. So Far, i have done, Front AU version DRLs, Fog Lights, switchback without switchback, all interior kit.
I am not able to do the front side markers, next to switchbacks. I can take the Grey plug out but not sure how to take the bulb out. I tried turning it anticlockwise, but it won't buzz.
I see you have already replaced it. is there a trick to it. does it still come out by rotating it anticlockwise?
any help will be appreciated.
Cheers
Use a small pair of pliers or needle nose pliers,
Only on one side of connector

yeah you only have to rotate it (not sure about the direction but I bet anticlockwise). They are hard to rotate doing it through the fender well - for me it was easy since I did it with the bumper removed :)
Yeh I finally did it through the Fender wall. Used a nose plier, with the connectors still on, that was the only way. Otherwise I would have broken something.
Yes they were anticlockwise. Thanks for responding promptly. Cheers.

Similar supplier as my DRL's, got them via my friends from proledlights.nl. It's not on their site yet but will be soon...He announced € 39.95 and think they still ship for free in Europe..

Yes, the link for the parking lights is already added to the lightning thread.

But as they have not yet be tested, just wanted to see if you have tested them :D

Okay so to get this effect I need the replacement bulbs for the parking lights + the switchbacks to replace the blinkers, correct?

Thanks Stefano for pointing out this great mod. Installed it on saturday with a lot of pre-wiring for the upcoming tribars in my car.

The switchback turning lights make the car look so much more aggresive when the lights are on. Again of the thing I really can't understand why Ford wouldn't implement them.

Here's a little pic I took this morning :headbang:

Sure, I yhink it's relatively easy once you gain access to the inside of the bumper.

Switchbacks and LED parking lights ordered as well. For now though I'm saving them for a future combined installation with Osram drl/fogs, intercooler, US EcoBoost lower grille and illuminated pony.
