Not entirely.
One of my options is to keep it an add a blower. I love this car more than I expected to honestly...
But a GT500 is on my bucket list, and I've come into the realm of it being obtainable....I have to consider that....
I haven't done a HPDE with the 350 yet, this is true, but I think I know enough about what to expect to know I'd enjoy it. I'm not looking to turn the car into a street demon either, that isn't what this car was made for. An empty highway pull here, or there is all I'm really interested in, at...
This is cusp I am on, tbh...The tune/intake option is relatively cheap and the gains look nice. Even if I went to FI at a later date the tune/tuner would still be used (reconfigured), so I guess only the intake wouldn't be needed. Thats a relatively small investment in the long run...
Intake and tune now while I wait to see what the GT500 ends up being, supercharge the 350 now, or do nothing/sell it and wait for the 500.
All options lead to a supercharged something. lol
I thought of this, but if I add power to the car you can bet I'll be driving the car hard enough to exploit it ;)
Having the coolers in place for that just adds peace of mind and protects the components that much better. Besides, getting down on a track isn't out of the question for me, just...
I like the LED options but never really thought the Mustang's headlights were that bad.
I think the RS lights might be a tad brighter, I guess I'll pay closer attention...
I had LEDs from VLEDs in my Miata. Made a WORLD of difference and the total cost for the 4 bulbs was about 400. The bulbs...
Greetings Gents,
First off...I'm really happy with my car. I know it's a '16 Tech and I don't care. I'm adding the coolers over the winter when the car is essentially parked, if not sooner. Though I'm not fully convinced of the need, I'll do it anyway because it surely couldn't hurt...
Now...
Yes! This happened to me as well...Same thing in fact....I was able to 'save' the badge and affixed it with double sided tape and it has held on fine since then. I would like it replaced properly though, I may make a call to the dealer and put that in motion....
I agree with this, not because I own a '16 Tech myself, but that I do see a lot of "chicken little-ism" going on here with the cooling issue.
As also stated, there is a fix, the most expensive of which seems to be about 5-6K for swapping the whole transmission and adding the coolers. Please...
A pic that was taken of my car at the Rocky Mountain Mustang Roundup. The photographer did some editing that made the car/scene look pretty cool in my opinion...:D
This was done by Ez-T Photography of Denver, Co. You can find him on Facebook :headbang:
Recall done. Took 2.5 hours. Splitter was perfect. They kept it in the service bay until I came to get it. Great service from Joe Cooper Ford of Yukon OK!
The GT500 market is a bit interesting to me as this was the car I was originally shopping for before moving on the 350. Fact was I couldn't find what I wanted in a '14 for the money I wanted to spend on one. Most were/still are in the low 50K range. That's pretty crazy for a car that's now...
How many cars are going into LM through stop and go traffic? I think if this is happening then it's a MFR matter for sure.
I've driven my car around, spiritedly, in 100 degree heat several times now with no issues. I autocrossed it in 90 degree weather, ran it at 85 mph from full to empty...
My car is due to be done on Monday. Not doing anything to the splitter. I expect them to mount and mount it properly. If they break it they'll replace it.
