Autocrossed it for the first time...And spun out. lol
Simple mistake I made, tried to power out of a turn a little too much...I laughed a bit, and enjoyed every minute of what this car is capable of.
This was with track on, shocks on sport and advance track all the way off. It was loose in the...
How did they fix it? EVERY model has the coolers. That's how.
How is that a money saver? Are you thinking this is based on volume deals with suppliers? Maybe Ford bought more than they thought they'd need...I don't know, but the fact remains...They decided to include them on every model. Why...
All well and good that you "knew better" or could care less because you don't need a fancy radio, but Ford obviously felt one of two things:
1) People who spend 60K on a Mustang want Nav and a cool ass (I autocrossed this past weekend, and though no limp mode was hit, my cold ass on the drive...
I'd answer this question by asking you why it doesn't exist for 2017....
It's rhetorical, and I'm sure you know the answer.
Simply put, Ford would NOT make these extra coolers standard if the car didn't likely need it. They sure didn't do it because of a handful of upset owners.
Perception is reality...Ford could say whatever they want, the public will undoubtedly see this as something else. Even "resonable doubt" in the minds of Ford's customers should be enough for them to make some attempt to correct it. You have to admit, it's awfully fishy to correct the one...
Coming into this a little bit late, but for me, I'm not overly concerned with my tech package car hitting limp mode in a HPDE because it'll rarely if ever be involved in one, And if my car hits this "limp mode" while on the street, it'll be at the dealership service lane each and every time...
1977 Mustang Cobra II in Black/Gold - Broke down the night I got it home. When I got it running it was nothing but trouble, but this is where my love for the Mustang began nonetheless. Now I have a GT350 in Yellow and Black. Things truly can come full circle,
but let's hope history doesn't...
I just brought her home last night and filled her up on 101 race fuel as a little celebration...At $7.69 per gallon I probably won't celebrate often! lol
I honestly can't give you any feedback on performance one way or the other as my only seat time consists of about 180 miles of consistent...
Trying to understand the Flex Tune...If I understand this correctly, if E85 can't be found, or I have to use regular, there would be no harm to the engine? My concern is if I happen to need fuel in a town that doesn't have it or can't be found...I live in a state (Oklahoma) that only sells 93+...
That seems to be the asking rate for privately sold cars. I've been looking pretty aggressively over the last couple of days.
Dealers across the country are still around 60K asking price for a car with similar equipment/miles
