Yes, I understand that, but the car was named after the group that built it. It was called the Mustang SVO, not Mustang-built by SVO...
If you were spec'ing out a Mustang back in '84-'86 you had the choice between the LX, GT and SVO. That made it a trim level.
Any name can be brought back...Boss, Mach 1...etc. SVO doesn't have to exist, for Ford to use the letters.
Let's not forget the new SHO has nothing to do with Yamaha, for example...Even though that engine is what defined it through 3 generations.
Don't ruin my fantasy....lol
But you're right, especially with the wheels. So ditch the CF and go with forged...maybe even some kind of throwback 3 spoke design, not sure how that would look but it should be euro flavored like the original SVO and the wheels should be exclusive to the package...
$45,995. Only options are the tri coat paints and sound system BS. It needs to sit well below the 350 and above the GT but only slightly. IIRC a loaded GT now clips 50k...
The cost is free:
1)Touch the power button to turn the radio off.
2)Flip the far right switch on the bottom row of switches in the center console, switching the exhaust to "sport mode".
3)Press the accelerator.
It's funny really, and contradicting to some extent, looking to boost this car. I heavily cross-shopped the 350 against the GT500. Both are in similar price ranges, and I was coming out of a '14 so I was used to the chassis...In the end, I chose better ride, so why consider adding boost?
You...
Bought in May 2017 with 3600 miles on it. It has 7500 or so today. 90% of that was put on when I took the car on a road trip from OKC to Steamboat Springs Colorado in June. It's seen about 300-500 miles since then. I have about 2 months or so of driving before I'll put her into hibernation...
I...
I have triple yellow tri-coat as well and see no pearl flakes in the paint whatsoever. But it is the deepest yellow I've seen in recent memory...It's a really nice color honestly, and turns heads wherever it goes...
Why not go for a color that is more unique? Lead Foot Grey for example, close enough to Magnetic but more unique as it may only be a 1 year color...
If I had to choose between the two, I suppose I'd go with magnetic, the white is too mundane for my tastes..lol
Let's see..The usual stuff like suspension, brakes, exhaust, some engine stuff (from cars back in the day, lol...Nothing like this).
I wouldn't tackle the supercharger alone, or maybe even the coolers, I haven't looked into that yet, but I have a mechanic's help and access to a lift so some...
So what you are saying is I should not be using this GT350 based discussion forum to discuss my car?
Just because I'm seeking advice and expertise of others when it comes to this vehicle doesn't mean I'll do everything I'm told... I'm here seeking feedback and opinions and in essence...
2016, Built 9/11/15 - currently at 7400 miles. No issues whatsoever. Cleared out my catch can for the first time yesterday, after 3000 miles of driving with it I had about 1.7 oz of oil in it.
I didn't say I've never driven the car hard...Just not on a full-on race track ;)
True, I'm looking at a really mild upgrade to pretty much all the way (and keeping it forever) or moving into what arguably might be a higher performance car (jury's still out on what that might be of course)...
Do you really think a tune/intake is going to make that big of a difference?
When I say I haven't done one, I mean with this car. I've done them in the past with other cars, one pushing about 200 hp more.
As for the coolers. I'll start with the transmission scoop I already own, but see...
If I mod it to the point of adding a blower, I'll keep it. A tune/intake and the coolers I don't view as extensive or anything detrimental to the value, in fact those coolers are pretty much required by the opinions of most, are they not?
As for resale value, even with the low chassis number...
