What rubber is that on those Forgelines? And what size was the rubber? Was curious with the weight compared to stock Ford rims on MPSS rubber. Did you get to weigh the stock tire+wheel combo?
Woha! That's a proper review right there. What's up with the driveshaft size, rear diff size and the stupid flattened exhaust? Why would Ford do such a thing?
All points well made and most probable valid. You are most certainly a better brake/car expert than I am (I'm no expert at all in fact).
But to your last paragraph, I'd like to ask you or Anthony for that matter 2 questions:
1. What car is that? Is it a GT350 in his apples to apples...
We might never know unless someone decides to section cut their muffler. I'd do it myself if I had a final aftermarket exhaust but I like alot the sound the stock one produces and I like the valve option.
Well to my understanding, limited as it is, there are 3 type of mufflers. Here's an explanation of how each works and how each one of them kills the sound in different ways.
Yep. The fucker cut the exhaust and replaced the stock midpipe with a shitty boxy nasty looking crap. That didn't bother me at all but what bothered me is that he didn't say shit before I got the car.
I found that he put the original GT350 midpipe inside the trunk. I called him and he said that...
I only meant to stress out that we have to compare apple to apples. GT350 to GT350 w AP brakes. Same car, same weight, same aero, same suspension, same rims, same everything except the brakes.
Comparing the GT350 to FR350S or GT4 or even the GT350R for that matter is rather pointless as it's...
Ok but if that is so then defatted headers + corsa xpipe + loud mode = straight pipes from engine to final? :eyebulge:
Cuz in that scenario I don't see anything canceling noise! Does it make sense?
Exactly! And the whole FR350S is not as much as an argument because that car is such a different animal than the stock GT350. Less weight, different aero, suspension etc. all stuff that most certainly affects sometimes directly otherwise indirectly the braking of the car and hence the braking...
