Dunno also why they haven'y gone CF...but there is a reason behind it. If you look at most top motorsport racing, you'll see they still use forged alloys. Might have something to do with the tensioning - strength characteristics of the alloy.
Hi folks,
I was drooling over the GT4 looks and so far I was able to pinpoint 3 of those mods available for the GT350 today.
First is the 13K GT4 CF hood...which is nuts, both in good looking and especially the price:

Second is the...
I don't think it would be ok. From my understanding on how oil catch cans work, that's mostly oil but it has a mixture of gas too...since the cylinders "leak" small ammounts of air/gas mixture together with oil, all in vapor form.
I agree. After I have failed struts on my 5 series, and my X6, just because of old age, and when you have to hold your hood with your head in order to do a simple task of adding windshield washer fluid....then you tend to appreciate the simple and failsafe things in life
Are we 100% positive on both things? Is more fluid in the reservoir = better cooling?
What about the bolt on spoiler? How much downforce does it produce and at what speeds? Do we know any facts about those?
OP does the added spoiler produce wind noise at speeds?
Nice car!
Couple of questions:
1. Is there an advantage to using the Mishimoto coolant vs the stock one (aside esthetics)?
2. What rims are those green ones on the white GT350?
3. What trunk wing do you have? Is that an add-on?
Thx
Hi guys,
I was keeping an eye on the Air Fuel ratio on a longer trip that I did, and I saw a lot of variation depending on the throttle input. Ford says the compression ratio is 12:1 right?
I think I never seen that number. I've seen only 14:1 or even higher. Under no throttle (lift off)...
Keeping an eye on this as I also wanted to go Lund. A lot of people here have Lund software on their cars so maybe someone can contribute...
Interesting OP says it was hard to do dyno pulls! Why? Was it hard stock? I'm asking this, because as soon as the brake in is over, and after the oil...
Hi folks
First slightly longer trip approaching 1000km, on my country's shitty roads and already got a rock chip on my bumper.
I envy you guys that have professional protection films. Wondering if it would be a good idea to do it now as probably more chips are ahead.
Do you guys...
Me too! :doh:And it barely fits even so!:doh:
There is no way in hell I'll be able to use the Ford Performance springs
Here is the video whcih shows a much more dramatic effect:
