  1. Drive shaft which one to get?

3.7 V6 auto here, so my choices were limited because of slightly different lengths. But DSS had what I needed. Balance was terrible but I'm old school and I balanced it myself with the 2 hose clamps. Now it's perfect.
  2. Rear End crabbing down the road

I agree. Alignment dowels will line up the rear subframe Then its just a matter of setting correct toe and camber on the rear.

Hey Less Weight! Looks like it's completely automatic. If I have the correct model (TM291), there are manuals online. https://www.libble.eu/tecmate-optimate-lithium---tm291/online-manual-720079/?page=0003

    Sorry galaxy, I didn't.

And the problem is? All this is inside a battery box which is shielded from engine heat and vented to cool air. Do you own a Mustang? It's conspicuously absent from your profile.
  9. Just ordered Antigravity Lithium Battery

You are correct. It is too high. I cut out the bottom of the battery box down to the first lower level of the battery box, the exact size of the bottom of the battery, so the battery was captured on the bottom. Then I mounted the battery with large plastic ties. I seached out slightly lower SAE...

  12. Transmission failure at 9600 miles, lost reverse months ago and dealer says not warranty for clutch in pieces

I don't know if your warranty girl will authorize that. After all tires are a wear item. And the rim was damaged because of your worn tires. Ya I know, I'm a wise guy. 😁😳😁
  13. Transmission failure at 9600 miles, lost reverse months ago and dealer says not warranty for clutch in pieces

Who knows... all this surging and kicking and bucking may have been a contributing factor to the clutch and transmission failures.
  14. Transmission failure at 9600 miles, lost reverse months ago and dealer says not warranty for clutch in pieces

I don't know if anyone mentioned this, but properly installed helicoil threads are stronger than original. Just think of it... aluminum vs steel threds.

Sorry about my late reply. Not enough hours in the day for me. This is a photo of my install of the ATX30-HD. It's a little taller than stock so I sectioned the bottom of the battery box so that the battery is completely captured at the bottom. Then I cut styrofoam pieces for all 4 sides...

That proves that helium weighs the same as air. :)
  17. Just ordered Antigravity Lithium Battery

Just a follow up on my Antigravity ATX-30-HD. I have had zero issues with the battery. I did zero adjustments. Initial erratic charging rates have settled down completely as the system learned the new battery. Install was a bit of a problem as this battery is taller than stock. I sectioned...
  18. The "what things weigh thread."

I just installed a Antigravity ATX-30-HD battery which weighs 8 lb which means 23.3 lb lighter.
