Car is a gen3 manual.
Mods are Wheels & Tires, Longtubes without cats, xpipe and catback, aftermarket air intake using stock airbox + tune.
(No idea on RWHP yet, goes on the dyno this Friday to get some baseline numbers before I do one of the next 3 mods)
I have about 4k budget on my next...
I have the same questions.
What are the gains if any over the previous CJ Manifold?
And if this doesn't fit under the OEM hood on 2015+ manual transmission... how much lower does the motor need to go? is a 3/4 inch drop enough?
I really want to buy it, but I want more info.
New Price $400.00 come and get it!
20X9 FORD rims. I have set of 4. Local pickup preferred $400. For all 4.. Never curbed. In great shape.. I'll leave the 285/35 firehawkks on. (Only 2 tires) the 2 tires have 80-90% tread left. Local to Memphis TN. I'll drive a bit and meet someone...
The first 1000 miles or so was easy going, no pulls till redline. basically regular driving.
Car does have headers so I know the tick gets a lot loud with headers. Just not sure if this is too loud.
I purchased the car new.
2021 GT, 6spd. (26k miles)
catless headers, K&N intake that uses factory airbox. Tune from Shrader Performance.
Runs great, sounds awesome. It's alwasys consumed about 1-1.5 qts of oil between oil changes.
It made that sound a little on day 1. you can't really hear...
335/25 r20 on the back
285/35 r20 on the front....
Think you would notice the hight difference visually or while driving?
Specs ( Diameter inches )

Mostly when shifting down into 3rd, it feels like I'm having to push over something. LIke something isn't lined up correctly. It happens from time to time going from 2nd to 3rd, but mostly going down to 3rd. Doesn't happen all the time, and it doens't make any noise that I can hear. I'm...
I've done things like swap intake manifolds and replace fuel systems, and stuff like headers, but this will be the most involved thing I've done. I was looking at systems that use the stock intake manifold. I have all the tools and access to a 2nd set of hands if needed.
I'm buying a supercharger in the coming days, and I'll be doing the install myself.
What are some of the things you wish you knew before buying your supercharger?
And if you did the install yourself, and you had to do it again, would you? Or would you pay a shop?
Thanks again
All were LS1 & LS2 blocks, I'm just surprised with amount of different between the exhaust note based on weather. I'm alwasy listening to things to try an evaluate how healthy a motor is, and these motors make a variety of sounds.
I have Longtubes, no cats, xpipe and gibson catback with a tune.
This isn't my first muscle car, but all my previous cars were LS based engines.
The exhaust note on my car seems to change a bunch depending on the weather outside. And it's not something I really noticed on my previous LS...
I've run catless with longtubes on every v8 sports car I've owned. The trick is to not be an asshole in your neighborhood. But I live in Tennessee, and we seem to be pretty muscle car friendly.
I'm planning on adding some sort of boost before the end of the year.
Is there any cost benefit to buying the parts needed for your turbo kit chunks at a time?
I'm in the very beginning stages of planning.
