Get longtubes and leave it on. IMO best sound the car makes is when your rolling slow in 2nd gear, and drop into 1st. The little burp it gives makes the sweetest sound.

That's 100% normal IMO. I have a 2021 GT 6spd. I don't touch 5th gear unless I'm doing over 40, and I don't go into 6th gear unless I'm doing over 55 for long periods of time. Basically you're going to slow for that gear.
