1.26" is a rather large gap, but consider that only half of that is going to effect the actual ride height. They are 26.59 and 27.85 in overall height but only .63" difference in sidewall height.

Another thing to consider is that is only the breakdown of the sidewall markings. We would recommend taking a look at the exact specifications of the tires you are considering.

The front being a little higher can also effect the handling for cornering.
