I have a Gen 3 coyote with an RPG stage 2 shortblock.
Catless headers and a vortech v3 jt trim supercharger with 3.6 pulley.
On VP Octane booster it made 762 rwhp, and on race-gas octane booster it made 850rwhp on a mustang dyno.
I drive a lot, about 18k miles a year, and I'm sick of buying...
I dynoed with this tune and octane booster. And it did fine.
I'm runnig that same tune but with a different octane booster and it apparently isn't enough.
Question about knock on a gen3 coyote.
Did a pull in 2nd gear to the middle of 4th. 2nd gear and 3rd gear had -2.0 knock until I hit 7k rpm and it went to 0.5. Then when I shifted into 4th gear, it felt lame, and the log shows 8.0 to 9.0 knock.
What would cause 4th gear to encounter so...
What is your thoughts on taking a car making over 750 at the wheels with a brand new (0 miles) clutch to the Dyno.
Mechanic said it's not that big of a deal, the dyno shop said it's a really bad idea.
My old tune (gen 3 coyote) was set for a Vortech v3 jt trim with a 3.6 pulley on pump 93. I have a new RPG shortblock with same compression 12-1. I'm now running a 3.3 pulley with octane booster. Would I be safe running the 93 pump tune on my new setup with octane booster, to drive gently to...
I searched and couldn't find anyone that had posted their numbers.
I dyno mind next Wed, but I wanted to get an idea of what other people were getting with the 3.3 pulley.
On the stock motor I put down 762 on a mustang dyno.
I have a new RPG Gen3 Level 2 shortblock being installed over the next few weeks.
I plan on bumping up the power a bit on the new setup, and as a result I'm wondering what's the max HP I can get out of the V3 JT blower?
I have a Vortech kit on my car. I was going to remove the instake tube off the blower and install a screen. I already have a oil catch can on the passenger side of the motor. And I'm also installing a breather on the driver side. However I ran into a problem and need some help.
The...
I have a vortech kit with an intake tube attached to the blower with a filter at the end. Is there any significant horsepower to be gained by running a screen or a small filter attached directly to the blower?
I have a vortech v3 kit from Beefcake
I was on the Dyno the other day and I keep getting code P0068 when it touches 6k RPM and it goes into limp mode.
On the street, I can run it to redline in 1st, 2nd or 3rd gear without any issues.
I tried to run it to redline in 4th on the street, and when...
I have expertly highlighted the bunch of cables in RED using state of art technology.
But on a serious note, I don't have room behind the IC, and I don't feel like there is enough slack to move it any lower and hide it behind the center part of my bumper.
Any thoughts?
