  1. 285/40/19's

Any specific reason you’re after 285/40? That’s kind of a tall tire vs the more common 285/35 for 19x10 inch wheels. I’ve seen other members have 285/35 20 which is about the same size as a 285/40 19 and i guess they’re ok. No personal experience though. also be sure you’re after the A/S4 not...
  2. Rear wheel size/ Tire size help

11s up front can be the same 50-55 offset but you will need to install extended studs and a 1 inch/25mm slip on spacer. That’s the go to for 11 inch square setups I’ve seen around here. There are some +26 offset 11 inch wheels (Apex comes to mind) for the front which don’t require studs/spacer...
  3. Best Hood Struts?

I’ve been pleased with these, I saw many endorsements on the forums before getting them. https://www.cjponyparts.com/redline-tuning-hood-strut-kit-quicklift-elite-bolt-in-ecoboost-gt-2018-2021/p/HDGL40/
  4. Running 19x9.5's Up Front

Not a silly question, we only learn if we’re willing  The SP2 is a great choice, I went X500 because I wanted silver and SP2 in graphite I find to be too dark. For tires, I cross shopped DT, tire rack, and discount tire direct (like tire rack but a DT version, they had better pricing...
  5. Running 19x9.5's Up Front

Not having a PP or those wheels, I’m going purely from memory on other threads I’ve read over the years. I’m fairly certain you need them in order to clear the caliper from the wheel face since the rear offset is high. I’m sure some other members will chime in soon.
  6. Running 19x9.5's Up Front

Here’s a similar thread. There are many others If you search around. https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/pp1-wheel-spacers.156673/unread I would suggest running the same tire compound all around, otherwise the car can be unpredictable in off-nominal conditions. A Square setup should last...
  7. Curt hitch won't fit '19 GT coupe with stock exhaust.

I installed a curt hitch on an 18 GT w/AE. I had to bend the AE module brackets ever so slightly for clearance but it worked. No issues after ~18 months. I never wrote up a full install post, but dropped some thoughts here...
  8. General GMax-RS vs Firestone Firehawk Indy 500.

I too looked at these both and ended up with the Falken FK510, same size etc. They were 209 per at the time of purchase earlier this month, made the choice even easier. Of the three, Indys are a little older design that test behind in wet performance. For your use case though, any of the three...
  9. 10 in all around

19x10 +35 offset with 285/35 is the easy button for large square sizing. No spacer required.
  10. Best tire for summer daily driver that will also work well for occasional track days?

See below for a thread that relates to this discussion. Many of the trusted voices here have good advice in it. https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/tire-recommendation-for-hpde.154601/
  11. 20's to 19's

It’ll work, but could feel a little sloppy since that’s the smallest width wheel for that tire size on most specs. I would suggest 255/40. The PP cars comes 19x9 front in 255/40 and the other 19x8.5 OEM wheels use that size as well. You have a much larger selection of tires in 255/40 vs 265/40...
  12. Post Pix of your S550 with aftermarket wheels and tires

I’ve only had them on a few days, so I can’t give a real commentary on them. Compared to the OEM 255/40 Pirelli A/S the sidewall is noticeably stiffer and turn in is much more immediate. No roll over feeling anymore, where you feel the sidewall compress and give way. Ride quality seems better...
  13. I've got analysis paralysis, help me pick my wheels.

Since you have a blackout package car, you already have a black 7 spoke wheel. That would push me to SP2 if only to have a distinct difference in appearance vs the R350.
  14. I've got analysis paralysis, help me pick my wheels.

Having gone through a similar process myself for over a year, I can relate. I settled on X500 in silver, as silver and square were my top priorities. I wanted a change from black on black, and don’t find graphite wheels on black to have enough contrast even though I loved the R357 and SP2. S350...
  15. Anybody have specs on 2018 Black accent package wheels?

Yes. All OEM 19s will clear the brembos in the front. They’re a popular winter tire choice for PP owners.
  16. Post Pix of your S550 with aftermarket wheels and tires

    Finally. SVE X500 silver 19x10 285/35 Falken FK510
  17. Wheel Fitment Question

305/35 20 i think fits and people here use it, but it is kind of tall; see attached tire size calculator comparing to the factory 20” size. I would suggest finding a tire you like that has sizes for both wheel sizes vs just picking a tire size. There are other options which are likely cheaper if...
  18. Ford Performance Tune for 2018+ GT

I definitely appreciate the removal of the sound tube; I thought it amplified the DI noises and other “harsh” mechanical sounds more than necessary. Now that it’s gone, the up-front engine/mechanical sound is better, and the intake also adds a lot of induction noise which I enjoy and can hear...
  19. Wheel Spacers. 20mm or 25mm?????

https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/20-foundry-with-20mm-and-25mm-spacers.33071/ Seems to work without issue.
  20. Tire recommendation for HPDE

And to answer @Shadow277 about 275 all around, you would ideally want a larger front wheel. Stick with 255 on the 9 inch width. Based on your usage from an earlier post, the factory sizes would be just fine. I ran two years of autocross on my 19x8.5 wheels with the 255 A/S just fine. Not fast...
