Two other ideas that I have no knowledge to explore but I’ll toss out for others to chew on. Ambient temperatures and its effect on intake temps, AFR, timing, etc and winter gas mix, if you get that in the U.K. It’s been mostly below 5C/40F here for months and I would say I don’t hear much if...
It’s been about 6 months but I’ve done very little driving while working at home. Maybe 1500? Not enough to notice anything with bearings like noise or vibration.
The mounting for these at first seemed like overkill when I was looking over the install instructions and looking at the parts. But they are Solid and hold their curve without issue. They knew what they were doing with this design and it’s worth the cost versus competing products, most of which...
I don’t have great photos but this is what I took at the time of installs. There’s 1 showing the rokblokx without spacers and then 3 where I’ve added spacers. I could take more later if there’s something you want to see specifically.
I use 25mm all around with the black accent wheels. The front is pretty flush, but the rear has a small amount of poke. The front of the rear wheel is also more exposed outside of the fender. I think it looks great. I do also use a set of Rokblokx to help with debris. I haven’t ran them long...
Here’s a big thread of shift knobs. Found a Hurst

Here’s the product...
Maybe. 275/40 is kinda tall for the front. Depends on how low OP is up front or how much they like sidewall. My lowered S197 friend has 275/40 square on 19x9.5 and it’s fine, he likes it because it’s a cheap size with good selection. It’s mostly preference.
I’m inclined to stick closer to the...
I found them on the Ford racing parts page. But I agree that it’s a detail that should be a little more obvious for a car with a large modification aftermarket/history. https://www.fordracingparts.com/part/M-1007-M199B
Yes the offsets are different on the factory PP wheels, even the nickel five spokes you have. The factory rear PP1 19”x9.5” wheel has a +52 offset, and the front PP1 19”x9” wheel has a +45 offset.
I see you’ve already ordered parts, but if you’re running 20” wheels that tells me you likely aren’t after purely performance. Why not just get PP brakes which are easier and will fit basically any 19 or 20 wheel? Consumables should also be cheaper down the line. Do you actually need these or...
This reminded me of a very long thread on this topic, which I see OP was a part of. If anyone is interested in more reading and date here you go.

I think you know the answer then :)
on lightweight cars: I oddly cross shopped this against ND Miatas and 987/981 Boxster/Caymans. Getting a V8 won out but those two cars are on my future list. Certainly more enjoyable handling and driving experiences in some ways than this car. I would also...
No HPDE, just autoX. I don’t have a PP car or brembos. From reading other’s experiences here, the cooling from ducts->deflectors->brakes is useful. PP cars also have a smaller brake dust shield which I think allows the deflected air onto the rotor better than non-PP cars. If you’re planning to...
For performance, no. The conditions where that makes sense are limited and you would want a Much larger splitter to have real benefit. For looks... it’s more aggressive sure. It also opens you up for more aftermarket parts, however if you look around the cosmetic forum there are non-pp splitters...
Thanks for the discussion, this is fun. I think this is a good reminder that two things can be true at the same time depending on how you measure it.
Objectively, the improvements from bracing may be significant or negligible depending on where they are located, the chassis in question, and...
Agreed. I couldn’t say for certain if the 20 inch wheel OP has will clear. It’s not just diameter but also how the inner barrel of the wheel is shaped.
PP2 isn’t rotable square. The tire size might be the same, but the front wheel is a 10.5 width and rear is an 11. Ford was both a little conservative on strut clearance and performance conscious by putting some pre-stretch on the sidewall with the smaller width front wheel.
