They’re still a much lighter option than say, the OEM PP wheels. You’re still getting a relatively light wheel for the size of tire it allows you to run. And being practical and thinking about cost, it’s not a bad tradeoff vs the 10” options. Yes they’ll be fine for track days.

Tire compound wins out over size, in general. So I wouldn’t sweat losing the 10mm vs a 285. Running the 275 on a 9.5 is just fine. My only negative on the Drift is that it’s ~3lbs heavier than most of the 19x10 wheels. But can’t argue the price.

If you have a PP and thus 15 inch brembos up front, it’s unlikely they will fit. Very few 18 inch wheels outside of Apex that clear those. The bolt pattern/spacing of 114.3 mm is the same on s197 and s550, so while they fit it also depends on barrel clearance.

I’ve seen the same, yes. KAM reset should at least shortcut that process a little, and doesn’t hurt to rule it out.

Does a KAM reset apply here? The car should not have issues with that ratio but the computer is still expecting/calculating against the old ratio, might explain it pulling power. Pull battery for 30 minutes, unless you have a tuner with that option, this will clear the map.

GT PP1 wheels are 9 front 9.5 rear. In a general sense, using a wider wheel with the same width tire creates preload on the sidewall and increases steering responsiveness and feel.

I would start with asking @ApexRaceParts and see if their wheels clear. They specifically state they will clear GT350 but don’t as of yet list GT500.

I’m guessing a lot of people will say Gorilla, but I don’t see an open ended in black. Their small diameter line work with aftermarket wheels from what I’ve read. Yet to replace the no-names from SVE myself.

Most people on here use 285/35 on the 19x10 front. 275/35 is also fine if you’re wanting to preload the sidewall a little more for handling purposes or if the specific tire you’re after doesn’t offer a 285/35. I’m Lowered 3/4 inch up front, zero problems.

The back side of the spokes typically have stampings for size, offset, etc. There may be a part number in there or some other indicator.

Yes they will fit PP1 brembos without issue. They do not fit GT350 brakes. Wheels will come with lug nuts as well. I used them with my SVE wheels but do have it down to replace with a nicer set at some point.

Ah yeah.... I forgot they had limited sizing for the first year of that tire. Last I looked they are supposed to release more sizes in June/July this year. I’m hoping for a 255/40 19 for my non summer wheels.
