  1. Lund Racing Tune issue

Please use the search function as this issue has come up many times before. Lund is not amazon, they have a small staff comprised of the best out there. Also please dont title your thread a lund tune issue as it has nothing to do with their tunes. A crank relearn can be needed with any flash of...
  2. Tune Help

Youd be lucky to gain 5hp from a CAI with or without the insert... if that's why your doing it. A tune is your best bet for any type of performance gain from anything less than a supercharger. Here's a list of performance mods that have the best bang for the buck. -exhaust (headers/cat...
  3. Getting Old: Seeking a Softer Suspension

Good info here, I was planning on buying a new shock/strut this winter. My pro actions have to go as these chicago streets and highways are shaking my car apart! You live and your learn.... Anyone have any input on koni adjustables?
  4. Regular unleaded vs Premium gas

@Briebee72 Your right I did not post any actual data of my findings as I did not record this a year ago and am not going to drain my tank, swap injectors, flash the stock tune, then datalog and add it to the thread just to prove a point to you. But I did do an actual test and you are basing...
  5. Regular unleaded vs Premium gas

@TexasRebel Thanks I did not know that! I was wrong.
  6. Regular unleaded vs Premium gas

@Briebee72 15-17 have 3/36 warrantys and please state me the law that a car cant have a part fail after warranty. That would make all car companies go out of business. Come on dont be disingenuous, you know you can pick up a base gt for around 35k. I bought my 16 Premium with 17k miles used...
  7. Regular unleaded vs Premium gas

@tokuzumi Yes the real difference is low/midrange power. Top end is negligible, which is what people hang their hat on since that's were peak hp occurs and everyone likes to quote hp numbers
  8. Regular unleaded vs Premium gas

Plus the average consumer of this car like you is never going to check knock sensors. Why would they, they trust big daddy ford. I mean they do everything the right way like the pinto!
  9. Regular unleaded vs Premium gas

@Briebee72 Q: Why would ford allow an engine to knock. A: A bean counter figured out any issues that would arise from knock would be after the 3yr/36k warranty and only a couple would go bad before that. They dont mention this knock issue because they are in the business of selling cheap...
  10. Regular unleaded vs Premium gas

@Briebee72 You asked where it stated its recommended. Then your shown in the manual it says recommended. Then you go off on a jag about people dont listen to it then show us a picture of a marketing deal ford had with BP. I kinda get what your saying but your mincing words. We can both agree...
  11. Regular unleaded vs Premium gas

@Briebee72 I answered your question a few posts up, little lengthy but I hope it's the answer your looking for...
  12. Regular unleaded vs Premium gas

Everyone should use and do what ever they want to their own car. Everyone's right that the hp gain is negligible on a stock application. What people dont know is that when running on 87 stock the engine tends to knock, alot. Yes there is octane logic built into the car and adjusts spark as...
  13. Should I Start with my Flex Tune and then switch to dedicated E85 after a few tankfuls?

@Tonymustang302 Theres a couple around O'Hare but they are e54 year round. I go to a speedway next to the Allstate Arena. The address is 885 E Touhy Ave, Elk Grove Village, IL and from april until now it's been testing 85% to 90% ethanol consistantly.
  14. Should I Start with my Flex Tune and then switch to dedicated E85 after a few tankfuls?

You can run your tank near empty then fill with e85 then flash at the pump. What I would do is flash the flex like you said and blow through a tank or 2 of e85 then flash the e85r tune. If it's a lund e85r tune you can run that with e70 or higher.
  15. Pilot Sport 4S tires and winter storage

I dont have pilots but I take the summer rubber off and stack them in my unheated garage when morning temps are 40* Did this for 3 years with my old pzeros and they only started to crack after 3 years but tires had no tread left and let's face it they were pirelli's. I also would also put them...
  16. Coldest ambient temp acceptable to run e85

@Whiplash473 Well add "you can drive on e85 in the winter months" to the positive column for running corn lmao
  17. Coldest ambient temp acceptable to run e85

@helloWorld Lmao I'm not racing anyone in the cold but a buddy that I'm trying to convince to go e85 is going to drive my car in a week so I was trying to hold out until then is all. @shogun32 Yes I was concerned about cold starts in the morning before work, I did word that horribly. I am...
  18. Coldest ambient temp acceptable to run e85

With temperatures dropping here in the midwest and me being relatively new to e85, I'd like to know if there is a cutoff ambient temp where it is unsafe or unreliable to run corn. I'm not going to run e85 much longer as the seasons change but wanted to know if there is a recommended temp range...
  19. Lost my backup cam, hill assist, and rev matching

Also sometimes the fuses are loose from the factory, lost power to my radio and fixed it by pushing the fuse down. There a fuse box in front of the battery and a second on the passenger side under the glove box on the right side behind a plastic cover. Just push every fuse down, itll take 5...
  20. MAGNETIC S550 MUSTANG Thread

@ToddUGA Ya it bridges the gap between the grill and airbox, and helps keep radiator heat soak away and lower IATs... it's more aesthetic than anything really here's the link https://www.velossatechdesign.com/collections/2015-2016-mustang/products/2015-2018-mustang-s550-big-mouth-ram-air-kit
