Your not adding hp as much as your removing a restriction on the engine allowing it to work closer to it's full potential. (Your regaining hp you lost from having the cat)
MAK claims
10-20 for n/a
30-40 for FI
I'd assume those are numbers are from an engine that was already tuned before and...
@Jeff's FRC
Ya the 90s a given but I know the sheriffs like to hangout alot over there. I ment like some back roads in between towns with halfway decent roads with less of a police presence, like some unincorporated area.
@JSmoove
Thanks for the welcome, ya once the weather picks up we should get a little something together for a day, like a burgers and cruise. You guys will have to show me the good roads around here where we can streach our legs out a bit :wink:
@Jeff's FRC
Ya I seen that place, never heard of it but was happy to see the multiple gas stations for e85. I'll test it but speedway has never given me less than 80% at any of them.
@barkingspud
Thanks for the tip I'll check it out!
Good to know about the e85, seems to be the same quality corn I was getting at the speedway by the alstate arena. Ya give me a buzz if you guys get anything going I'm always down. Ya I can see how easy it is to cause trouble with these beautiful long roads, I'm use to hitting a stoplight before...
@Jeff's FRC
Oh nice I know where that's at, I'm just off the 90 at 31. Ya man theres some great places to hangout I've been seeing, we'll have to get some more neighborhood guys and do a meet in the spring. If you see a grey 16 GT with firefighter plates driving around, that's me!
I have them along with alot of other shit so going to be hard to give you a precise answer.
Great spring, I love when you get on the gas the car feels like it almost stays level, very small weight transfer. Make sure you remove the preload from the suspension after the spring install, it will...
Now has this issue been only happening with the same tank of gas or multiple fill ups. Sometimes it's just shit gas! If you've exhausted all options throw in some octane booster to at least rule out bad gas!
Lmao your battery stressed out bruh?!?! Hope you figure it out!
P.S. maybe your having a fuel trim issue, disconnecting the battery for 5 mins resets LTFT and starts the relearn. Couldn't hurt! Also maybe a o2 sensor is fouled, if you have access to dataloging equipment I'd check o2 and fuel trims.
You will definitely need that bumpsteer kit, along with the lateral link which is next on my list. I have alot of your list already installed so please ask me anything.
Everyone's right about the shocks/struts, go adjustable! I regret that I didnt!
@80FoxCoupe
I'll keep that in mind thanks...
I bought the cruise version which I inferred from its description that it's for DD, as they have drag/autocross/big tire/and high hp versions of the shock.
I know it wont fix the streets but just could do with a little more cushion especially on...
@80FoxCoupe
I already have fixed pro action struts/shocks. There great on flat roads but chicago streets are mostly torn to shit and the pro actions are soaking up every imperfection. So I thought with some adjustability I'd be able to soften the ride when I DD and still be able to tighten her...
Just ordered me a pair of crusader cruise shocks w/ steeda bump stops and shock mounts.
Went this route to try to tame my suspension on bumpy chicago roads. Was wondering what settings you guys have found for C & R that's good on the street for comfort, and also for the strip if someone wants...
Damn it sounds like the friction material is almost worn down then, if so then your going to need a new one. Warranty almost never covers the clutch since it's a wearable item like brake pads.
But take it in and see what they say, you never know!
