If your already tuned do you need a revision if you remove the cats. I thought tuners cant do anything if you remove the cats or am I confusing CEL with fuel trims.
@ripto
Sound is subjective so I'll do my best.
Idle is barely louder than stock outside but can hear it well in a garage. It's quiet inside the cabin when cruising and shifting at 3k but everyone else can hear a nice light deep growl. Its noticeably louder than stock but not obnoxious. But...
@rum_punch_ruby
We had a blast man! We're hoping next time we can get a few more guys. @Whiplash473 was the camera guy but he and his wife just had a baby so hes had his hands full and hasn't been able to edit many pictures but he did manage to get one of @Simon.V8 car done. Cant wait to see...
@ripto
I have the ARH and it will definitely be the quieter of them. 0 drone and still screams at WOT but would be drowned out by a corsa xtreme if one was next to you.
@BmacIL
Always raining on my parade lol! Your racing calendar you posted months back says your going to route 66 next Sunday, is that a race your ride day? I'm not seeing it on their website, but I'm interested in tagging along if your going.
@Simon.V8 @Whiplash473 and myself are throwing together a little lunch meet. It will be held at Pierce Tavern in Downers Grove at 1pm Sunday the 25th. There is a parking garage a block away that where going to meet and park at.
We set this up to talk cars, enjoy some food, hear whiplashes LT...
@dguzzi
When I had the v6 I fixed the wheel hop with just the steeda subframe braces. Very simple to install but 2x the price of the bushings. But dont let installing these bushings scare you, I was scared at first and everyone told me it was a walk in the park, now that I did it they most...
I dont think it will bend the bolt, it's a thick ass bolt. Just dont just let one side hang, lower the jack and if you go to far and its hanging just pump it back up until you connect. I've had mine hang for a while and had no issues. Theres a YouTube video from CJPP on the install, they also do...
@dguzzi
I supported the right side with a jack placed in between the front and rear bolt on the cradle.
Then loosen or remove only the right side cradle bolts. If needed slowly lower the jack to give yourself enough room to slip in the bushing. Rear ones can suck to install one side took me a...
The flex fuel tune is NOT a performance tune and does NOT make the same power as the dedicated e85r tune otherwise why would they make a dedicated e85 tune. The FF tune is a convenience tune to be able to use either fuel, or so you dont have to empty your tank when going from a 93 tune to a e85r...
Did you have your bushings clocked after you installed the springs or at least an alignment to remove some of the preload?
Also did you check the obvious like a nail in the tire, make sure the lug nuts are torqued to 144, or even a bad wheel bearing (jack the car up, pull on the wheel and see...
@msweet
Someone who doesn't want to have to weld in resonators when I install my LTs.
Profiles says he lives on our east coast Mr Aussi, that means blizzards in the winter and many rainy spring/summer days. To me that's more than a little inconvenience. :flag:
P.S. The saying goes "eat your...
You cant eat your cake and have it too...
1. You can do a cutout/pay for fords active exhaust system (think it's like $2k)
2. Go loud and see if anyone objects
3. Grab an American Racing Header catback. I have one, I leave for work also at 430, I'm in a garage in an alley, right across from...
I got one to cover the small area exposed to radiator, but then shot myself in the foot with an open box CAI. I still get 4-5 degrees above ambient temp while cruising but will quickly climb at a stop.
All in all it's just cosmetic, I think it looks unique offset in my mmd v series grill but to...
You can have your oil tested by Blackstone Laboratory. They will let you know if you have an abnormal amount of metal shavings in the oil which could indicate a problem youd have down the road. Other than that it's up to you when you want to tune it.
If you just bought it enjoy the car until...
@None2Slow
I had a bad experience with a spec stage 2 when I had my v6. Besides having a lot of chatter and nvh, it only lasted 10k miles. It did grab like a gorilla though but any aftermarket clutch is going to also. Just my 2 cents...
Isn't p0300 a misfire?
Did you get the CEL immediately or days later?
Did you go back and double check everything was plugged back in?
Is the tune your currently running set up for an IM swap?
