Do you daily drive your cortex LCA bearings? I have a DD I would like to put them on but it sees a lot of hard miles through snow/rain/sand/salt and whatever else. Just worried about longevity.
I've driven about 500-700 miles since install and have taken it off numerous times to check it and it looks totally fine. I painted mine in high-temp engine enamel before install.
Once I got this pipe to fit nicely (which wasnt as simple as it sounds) it works wonderfully. I used UPR's metal PCV connectors instead of the plastic ones that came with the pipe and hps 3.5 inch intercooler piping and t-bolt clamps to seal it up.
I really liked Fordguys550's pipe but I...
I use Blizzack WS-80s also ad my mustang handles perfectly fine in the snow up to about a half foot
**ahhh you were looking for advice! I would suggest slow and steady, always, because once the rear comes out, unless you're Ricky Bobby it's going to keep coming around!
LCA bearings are on the way and i considered the upper shock mounts but they are definitely not cheap and i'm not making enough hp or trq to break the stock mount I don't think so that's saved for later.
I think I found the ultimate daily driver combination....
Seriously, though, I just got my 2015 V6 auto back from the shop with this combo installed and all I can say is WOW. Ride is much smoother than stock yet there is much less body roll in corners and very little nose dive as well. Bumps...
Looks like i just jacked up my drivers side front subframe bolt putting in BMR SP080s and Steeda shocks. I have NO experience with a tap nor do I know how to do this process. Can anyone explain? I'm a little panicked right now to be honest lol
Does this need to be done if you are using your SP080 springs? Do I just ask a mechanic to "clock my bushings" after I install the springs? Gearing up for the install, just waiting on Steeda Pro Actions.
My GT throttle body (80mm) did not increase the noise all that much. Maybe a little more intake noise but it could be from the new intake pipe I used.
I would personally consider the GT throttle body upgrade over the BBK. It is a little more involved but so far for me it has been an amazing...
