My 'lightweight package" would go something like this...
carbon fiber hood, front fenders, doors and trunk
lightweight rims
rear seat delete
1 pc driveshaft
and I would consider tightening up the IRS and the chassis as this can make the the car 'feel' smaller and more nimble
Just installed my BMR TCA045 spherical/spherical links last week and went on a 500 mile road trip immediately after getting my tires on. NO NVH at all, literally none. I wouldnt explain the feeling as "the rear end is tighter" but rather more like "the suspension is doing what it is supposed to"...
I'm sure it couldn't hurt though? Those cars do use other means of taking deflection out of the suspension such as stronger links or more firm bushings, the may not need the added weight of a brace when there is little deflection anyways.
I HAVE THIS ON MY V6....what was it and did you ever get it fixed?!
**its like a tapping/rattling from under the steering wheel towards the brake pedal or where a clutch pedal would be if I had a manual. Iv already been under there and every electrical connection seems sound. I hope its not...
I recently had one of my catalytic converters replaced under warranty and since then I hear a rattle in the driver's side footwell that gets louder and faster with more pedal input. I've taken it to 2 dealerships and no one else can hear it apparently so I'm trying to figure out what's going on...
