I've been in the cars three times and I'm confident they did a much better job this time around. Not to mention the awesome brakes. :hail:
But that doesn't mean they aren't having quality issues which delayed shipping and production for almost two months. Production started back...
Ask that to the guys with Boss 302's when they overheated their new cars on their very first track day. They don't catch everything. For the record I have never said nor do I believe there is anything wrong with the engine.
I didn't. Nothing like taking my comments out of context. There's a very different meaning between the way I stated it and the way you highlighted it.
There was one car at LS and one at RA they had to be pulled from the events because they looked like they blew their motors.
vs
they blew...
I never said they blew the motors and I don’t think they did. My comment was in response to the comment that there were no issues with the cars at TT. There were. But the smoke coming off the car at LS could be related to the delay but I don’t want to spread any rumors or conjecture. :)
The delay is based on Ford waiting for the Track Tour to be over and all the horses back in the stable with a wash and wax. ;)
There was one car at LS and one at RA they had to be pulled from the events because they looked like they blew their motors. This has been reported numerous times and...
They are late. Ford gave delivery dates of late August for the 2015's and later dates for the 2016's. Nobody made those dates up. But not to worry the delay is due to Track Tour. :headbonk:
And still no reports of GT350's shipping. I know maybe Ford is waiting to get the TT cars back in Detroit to clean and prep them before they ship the 2015's that have been sitting in Area 51 since mid July. ;)
The Bob's is a really nice piece and what I like about it compared to the others is the in line is below the out line. Gravity is your friend. Ford could have used any of the available separators and they chose Bob's. That's good enough for me. I originally had the JLT on my GT and I was...
Peterson yes but it's a breather not a catch can. No oil under the hood. It's not going to fit on the GT350's though. The catch cans like the Bob's and JLT help but you still get oil in the intake. The breather is the only way to keep the oil out of the intake but it's not smog legal. ;)...
I have no idea why the R’s aren’t shipping but a rear track that’s wider by 10-20 mm compared to a non R causing issues does seem farfetched. The front being lower by 1” on the R seems more plausible. Wait did I just start another rumor?
Your assumptions and hypothesis are things I never said or implied.
You're right I don't know Jack. Keep thinking the cars were held up because Ford wanted you to drive the car at TT before they were released.
