Thanks.
Shocking to think that someone on another forum, who has a GT350R on order, has owns multiple Mustangs, is a recent SCCA champion in his Boss 302 and who attended the event didn't make that up. Or that I would only post that to help 6G members manage their expectations and not...
Nice review, thanks. The rotors are less than $300 each and are two piece but one unit. They should last a bit longer than on other Mustang rotors due to their heat dissipation properties. This car will not be inexpensive to track but compared to a similar performance Porsche should be cheap. ;)
Again you can think what you want. The only reason why I'm here is because another member turned me onto a 350 at MSRP and I'm trying to pay it back. Everytime I post information I get questioned like I'm in the 5th grade. I never said this site wasn't legit you did. I just added more clarity...
You think the delay was to let everyone attend TT? Believe what you want. Remember I'm the one that broke the news here about the media event. Got that from BMO too.
The delay had nothing to do with Track Tour. The delay is quality related. It was reported over on Boss Mustangs Online from someone that attended the event that only non R's were given the OKTB. The R's could be another two weeks.
Ford ships to every dealer every week so there is no charge to have your car shipped to another dealer. Both the ordering and receiving dealer must agree and communicate with each other. The receiving dealer does the pre delivery inspection (PDI) and must complete some paperwork so they...
I am and my DORA lists the ship to dealer as my local dealer. In the remarks section it states "courtesy delivery". Both dealers are familiar with the process but for now it's just sit back and wait until my car gets pulled for production which I expect late this year or early 2016.
Good luck!
With a quick internet search you'll find the gen 5 Camaro will be in production until early November. So Ford built the 137 2015 GT350's in mid July to hold for 4-5 months? :headbonk:
Notice that you don't own a Shinoda 302. ;) BTW I've talked to Owens and Ling several times about the 350 and FGT and the only time Shelby was mentioned was when Owens was doing his marketing spiel at Track Tour. On separate occasions when talking to them and other Ford engineers nobody...
This might surprise you that I'm older than you, grew up on SoCal, was very aware of what Shelby did, even saw his cars race at Riverside raceway as a kid. I have great respect for what Shelby did during his early career but that doesn't change the fact he wasn't involved in the development of...
LMAO and you have all the answers? You better check again as they had failures at the ring. They addressed the issues but maybe it's not working. What do you think those little round brown things attached to the cats are for? If you think 137 2015 GT350's have been sitting for over two...
So what did he contribute? I've talked to the engineers that worked on this car and none mentioned Carroll Shelby. None. It's marketing. You can buy into it if you want to but I'm not. Just a personal preference.
This should be GT350 Anonymous and not Shelby. I'll never refer to my GT350 as a Shelby because he/they had nothing to do with it's development. I would have preferred to save $1,000 and not had the Shelby name on it.
