That's correct and what the Ford engineer I spoke to told me. Not sure if anyone does aftermarket tuning on MR dampers but someone would have to have some inside knowledge to know what to tune to. This is not a plug and play system.

The only physical difference is the slot gaps are slightly smaller or tighter on the R. This makes the damping stiffer.

I wish the GT350 came with rev matching and I wouldn't be surprised to see it in 2017. I've been using an Auto-BLiP on my GT for three years and it works very well. http://www.auto-blip.com/

It is different but the dampers are also different. The R's have smaller slots gaps for the fluid to travel through. This is not a plug and play system and it's not clear even if you bought the whole R damper system if it would work on a non R.

What makes you think it is? Approximately 50 2016's have already been built. No reason to believe me and I'm done.

Other than Carbon Rev having challenges meeting the demand for the wheels I don't know. We should see the 2015's released anytime now. :thumbsup:

It started a couple of weeks ago but got put on hold after about 50 cars were built.

You could have if nobody got in your way which was very unlikely. I got to pass two cars and was about to pass a third during my three lap session but I had to slow down and wait for approval to pass.

And which 18" wheels do you think are going to clear the 394mm rotors with six piston calipers?

The GT350 with stripes looks very dated.

The Media event is Tues and Wed. The Track Tour event is Thurs and Fri. One group of the TT event is media but it's not the same as today and tomorrow. My bet is we should start seeing reviews tomorrow afternoon. The media event is similar to the Boss 302 media event held there in February 2011...

I’m very familiar with the history and have great respect for Carroll Shelby. But that was 50+ years ago. They are not the same company as they were back then. It’s just marketing when they use the name but there’s no direct input on the development of the cars. That’s the reality in 2015...
