That's correct and what the Ford engineer I spoke to told me. Not sure if anyone does aftermarket tuning on MR dampers but someone would have to have some inside knowledge to know what to tune to. This is not a plug and play system.
I wish the GT350 came with rev matching and I wouldn't be surprised to see it in 2017. I've been using an Auto-BLiP on my GT for three years and it works very well.

It is different but the dampers are also different. The R's have smaller slots gaps for the fluid to travel through. This is not a plug and play system and it's not clear even if you bought the whole R damper system if it would work on a non R.
You could have if nobody got in your way which was very unlikely. I got to pass two cars and was about to pass a third during my three lap session but I had to slow down and wait for approval to pass.
