See, I had problems with my dr's and traction. Went to slicks and picked up two tenths. Now I realize that was most likely due to weight savings. ( slicks and skinnies opposed to drag radials on 19's)
So got the mechanical gauge installed and fired her up. Creeped up to 28 psi then slowly went down with the car running. Low oil pressure light on immediately and never went off.
Removed oil cooler and changed oil filter. Started back up......... 90 psi on the mechanical gauge but...
Go with the nb2b. Think it's a five wire install. You can splice plugs but why do all that splicing if you only have to do five or six. (Can't remember exactly)
I
I damaged the plug trying to unplug it that's why I had to replace. I pulled the motor to have the head studs installed. I hand delivered motor to engine guy already mounted to a stand.
That's what I'm thinking though, Sketchy signal.
So just got done have new head gasket installed as well as arp head studs. Was lifting the heads under high boost. (Or blew head gasket).
Reinstalled motor along with the twins. Threw it on the dyno to make sure everything still looked good. Made same numbers per boost setting...
Livernois only has one set of springs for the coyote. If you look they are minimally better than the boss springs. Not sure you'll need them with the 62's. Either way they are not drop ins and make sure whoever is installing them shims accordingly.
Also may want to consider head...
I made those whatever it suggested and haven't messed with it. I'll be honest, I'm not a fan of the eboost2. On the sp2 setting it does not always make the 12 lbs. it's as if I never changed the setting but when I check I did have it on the right setting.
So what tipped you off on the head gasket. I'm afraid I might be lifting the heads under boost. Made a pass and there was coolant everywhere on drivers side. Cleaned everything up, Ran for half an hour with no leaks........ made a partial pass maybe 660' and checked and still bone...
Fuel rails and feed line is the same as the 11-14's. If and when you go to the return style you can choose whatever is easier and disconnect the line and let her drain into a jug. I disconnect mine at the fuel filter which I have under the car by the frame rail.
