  1. No, I don’t “Pet” my Mustang..

My wife tells me that I'm going to the garage to see my girlfriend. It is what it is!
  2. Anyone using wheel cribs instead of jackstands?

That's the way to do it. Cribs with a jack under for protection. I always keep the jack tight with jackstands, since you never know if one will fail.
  3. Bonnet lift struts

I have those, also. Install is easy peasy and they work awesome. No complaints.
  4. So many hood strut choices, which one is the best?

I went with the Rousch kit from CJ Pony Parts. Install was a snap and it's working awesome. Didn't read all of the pages, but love mine.
  5. Oil Temp Gauge

Looks like I'll be picking up the GT350 gauge cluster. These guys have a pretty solid price compared to most, and it's plug and play. https://parts.levittownfordparts.com/oem-parts/ford-gt350-gauges-fr3z10849e
  6. Daily Driving A Boosted GT?

Good point. Right now I have the Ford track kit and the Steeda bushings in the rear to line things up. It's all pretty much new. It's set up more for handling, so I don't have a setup for optimal traction.
  7. Daily Driving A Boosted GT?

I don't see how if they won't hold my very lightly modified car. When I use mine on the street, I use the same pressure as the track (20 psi) so that I can still turn ok. What pressure are you running in yours on the street?
  8. Which option/upgrades should I go with between new and upgraded used roush?

This. 👆 I have three in my state. Thankfully, one is close, but it's still a pain to have to use that one station. Plus, their E85 has been around 70-72% lately. I don't know how much pump gas fluctuates.
  9. Daily Driving A Boosted GT?

This. 👆 With my very lightly modified 2020 PP1 with the 10R80 (JLT CAI, long tubes and an E85 tune), on a warm day if I hit it from a light first spins and second spins hard enough to short-shift to third very early. With a blown car, like some have said, I'm sure you'll need to roll into it...
  10. Oil Temp Gauge

I'd like to add an oil temp gauge in the cluster that currently has an oil pressure and vacuum gauge, so hoping to add just an oil temp gauge to the vacuum side of my 2020 PP1 to keep it clean and OEM-looking. I can only find the entire cluster when I look online, does anyone know if I can find...
  11. Hit Firebird Raceway (ID) on Saturday (DA discussion)

I hadn't done much research on DA, but always see it being talked about in drag threads. I used to live in CA so did most of my runs at places like Carlsbad, Sacramento Raceway, etc. DA is usually pretty good there. With a JLT CAI and an E85 tune, best a few months ago was 12.05 at 118 at...
  12. Show and Shine... Post your ride

    Beautiful.
  13. Coyote tick driving me mad after recent

Sounds like most of you are going with 5w30 instead of 5w20? I've only done one oil change, but did use Pennzoil Platinum Plus in 5w20.
  14. Newbie question about ess supercharger and emissions ( this is probably a tuning question?

With the Supreme Court Chevron decision, I'm hoping it will go the other way. We'll see!
  15. ESS Supercharger guys what base tune did you run after install?

Another thing to consider (although most will probably write this off) is their recommended tuner list. I doubt it would cause any headaches down the road, but with so many loving the Wengerd tune, I think I'll go with that when the time comes. Recommended tuner list : -Wengerd Performance...
  16. Anyone with higher mileage on their billet Opg/crank gears?

I totally understand why people do this mod. But, don't the GT350's and GT500's come with the same opg's as Mustang GTs? I've been bouncing this around also, but may scrap the idea if I go with the ESS, especially since it uses the same belt.
  17. What did you do to your S550 Mustang today?!

Awesome. Is that a kit that you bought or did you do it yourself? If yourself, how did you know how long to make the dipstick?
  18. What did you do to your S550 Mustang today?!

Had my daughter's boyfriend, who works for a detail place, ceramic coat the car yesterday. I spent the better part of a week buffing it out with my orbital polisher and using Meguiar's Ultra Cut Compound and then their Ultra Finish Polish. There are better products out there now, but it's what...
  19. What did you do to your S550 Mustang today?!

Nice. Speaking of the tips, any tricks on getting them level? I put long tubes on mine last weekend and adjusted them at least five times, but couldn’t get them quite where I wanted them. I wish they were connected better at the muffler area to hold them in place.
